Secret: it's because of my school's play, to which I -- for cosmic reasons -- decided to volunteer my services (running the sound board). The rehearsals were like seven hours a day: I'd basically be at school from eight in the morning to eleven at night. Anyway, the whole ordeal was finally over and done with last weekend, OR SO WE THOUGHT.
Turns out the play was so utterly fantastic that the town over wants us to perform it in their city hall theater, an offer they haven't posed in over a decade. It's a pretty sweet gig but nobody's really up for it -- since it's an entirely differently-built stage than our own, we have to do a thousand more rehearsals to familiarize ourselves with it, and we're ultimately doing twice as many performances as we had planned to.
Also next week is midterms week which I totally forgot about.
I don't usually like delving into my personal life but I figured you guys should get an explanation so SORRYYYYYYY.
Working the sound board isn' so bad, I have friends who work it when we have assemblies and junk. Get any better and learn how to fix an amp or two, and maybe you can turn it into a job XP Meh, not my look on life, unless my Piano breaks.
I was hoping that the comic deprevation period would be over, but I can wait till the 17th...I don't have much to think about for the next week and a half, I have no Exams! mostly just projects I have to start and finish XP
