I have no idea what I just witnessed

Was playing it earlier today.

Oh god I hate the combat so much. Why can't I move when blocking? Why can I only roll away when I'm locked onto an enemy?

I love the rest of it to bits though.

Well, I'm really not sure how I should feel. Dialogue was good, but characters were bad. Felt way too stock, way too shallow. May have been the aim, but that doesn't make it good.

Combat was fun, RTS was fun, but controls are somewhat frustrating, and combos feel very unsatisfying, as do all of the teamups except the Stonecrusher

Lack of notification of where you've already gotten everything felt last gen, but there was great variety, and it is initially very fun to drive around exploring.

Ending was really weak. They should have unlocked a fourth penninsula.

Instant death by driving into the sea off unrailed roads is really infuriating.

A game I like and dislike simultaneously. Knew I should have gotten Uncharted 2.

I'm getting an X-Box just for Relic's PS3/X-Box "Space Marine" exclusive.

i agree for the most part. the combat wasnt the best in the world, the plot was awesome till the end.

but my god the music in this game, it makes up for so much.

[spoiler]one thing i can say i hate, is that the dragons and legends that you have to "free", they give no hint what so ever how to actually free them. after the game was over i just started randomly attacking them with different shit and found out the pyroblast and the guitar slam unlocked the respectively. so i did that entire game without any bonuses from the dragons lol[/spoiler]

Considering they're now the same price (if you want one that works) and the Ps3 is getting Old Yeller: the Videogame (also The Last Guardian, aka Trico), wouldn't it make more sense to get a Ps3? Besides, get the game released on the same day that people consistently say is better.


But actually, the soundtrack specifically rustled me off. Hear me out, we're missing someone very important. They had the space to put in Kabbage Boy, 3 Tenacious D songs, bloody Through the Fire and Flames, yet, where the bloody hell is Maiden? More trophies in their name than any other artist (I counted, there's 2 - Flowerslave and Ran to the Hills, as opposed to Painkiller and No More Tears, one each for Priest and Ozzy), the lead character is named in their mascots honour, every menu uses their font, but we couldn't rock out to some Hallowed Be Thy Name?

So youre saying they shouldnt have added Tenacious D?
in a game with JACK BLACK in it?

also Xbox is still about £150, PS3s are £250
that is not essentially the same price
