Hay guys, remember when I said I was going to do the League now?
I LIED! HAH!
Well alright, I will be doing it in a few screenshots, I just have some business to take care of first.
First, I need to reteach Roosevelt Sing.
Oh god, Canalave City has the best theme tune for this moment right now!
Yeah, this time, I
do need the Move Deleter. HM moves can't be replaced normally.
Yes folks, a Pokemon has somehow completely forgotten how to climb up something!
Also, I didn't realise that the Move Deleter had his own sound when deleting a move. Probably because I never actually had to use one before.
I never really liked Pastoria City. Dunno why, it's just too.... green, and un-city-like. I much prefer industrial cities myself, this place feels too much like a simple village.
Heheh, as if I'd want to talk to you to hear about your day. Dream on, fat man!
Oh, this is actually my last Heart Scale. Crappy!
Man, I wish real life was like a Pokemon game. I mean, instant singing lessons for just a single fish scale!
Okay, okay, last city, then back to the League!
I think you all know what I'm up here for.
Ah, anyone remember Team Galactic? Man, those guys were aweseome!
I think. My memory isn't too good.
Well hey, I did say I'd switch to Wash Rotom around this point AGES ago! I meant to do it as soon as I got Rain Dance, but I kept on forgetting about it.
...
Okay, try and tell me that isn't in any way incredibly suggestive!
Anyway, POKEMON LEAGUE!!! Again.
Wait, this isn't where I'm meant to be...
Oh wow, I didn't even realise that you could fly to this point! Man, that would've saved me.... okay, nothin; I didn't actually need to leave this place at any point anyway.
That's better. I would've freaked if I had to go all the way through Victory Road again!
Oh WOW, that IS a really long way down! Heck, it isn't even showing the end of the sea. I'm guessing that's the emulator's fault though.
Okay,
now I'm ready to...
Hey guys, remember when I said I'd be doing the Pokemon League right about now?
AHAHAHAHAH oh I am so very evil!
What? Noooo, I was just... umm... saying hello to the door guy for no apparent reason. Really!
FINAL RIVAL BATTLE, WHOOP! You're going down, Flantleroy!
And to note: he actually
does have six Pokemon! Looks like he finally got some common sense into him! Pity that he still does that Spasm Dance thing though.
Er... wut? How the heck does Staraptor know the most powerful Fighting move in the game? Talk about a load of bullcrap!
FEAR THE POWER OF...
BEING CLEAN! Truly, the Pokemon Trainer's greatest weakness!
Yeah, I had a massive type advantage there, he didn't stand a chance.
5 vs 5 now.
This one's a clear advantage to me. Roserade's a Poison type, y'see.
Also, I am disturbed by the fact that that's a male Pokemon. Eugh.
....that somehow knows a ghost move. Goddamnit McPants, you definitely must be cheating now or something!
Hah! Still doesn't take away from the fact that ROSERADE SUCK!
OW, GODDAM KARMA!
I really do not like fighting Heracross, they're far too fast and strong!
Fortunately, they mostly rely on fighting moves, so ghosts have a distinct advantage over them.
Especially ghosts that can call forth a ridiculousl amount of electricity!
Actually, even against a one-hitting ghost, Heracross still nearly killed him off!
4 vs 3 now, I'm marginally ahead!
Statement regarding Penguins and Fucking.
I'm at the advantage here... but not by much. Water is one of the 5 types that Magnezone doesn't have a resistance again!
Best bet here is to use Rain Dance to make Thunder a 100% accuracy move, and absolutely demolish it with him and Machineria! Just as long as he doesn't die by the next atta-
Yeah. I'm an idiot.
But at least I'm a
smart idiot! Haha!
Aaaand that's the last we ever see of That Fucking Penguin! Wootinary's all around!
Good thing that I'm at the Pokemon League right now, or I'd be really outraged at Machineria levelling up yet again while the others are back at level 44s and 45s!
Second thoughts, there's no way I could get outraged over that!
Although I'm really surprised that Machineria only learns Discharge at Level 50! Pokemon like Magnezone learn it at level 40, and that's a powerhouse as it is (weaker Pokemon generally learn moves at a lower level; Pachirisu learns it at 26)!
D'AWWWWWW, IT'S A SNORLAX! Everyone loves those big cuddly guys! Don'cha just wanna hug it?
Oh god, I hate this giant fat bastard! I really wanna strangle it now!
Snorlaxes are meant to be weak damage absorbers, not really-strong tanks!
This is why I hate Rival Battles.
Ugh, I'm stuck on my final Pokemon now. And he still has another one after Snorlax!
Good thing for type advantage! Ahah!
....or, that won't actually kill him.
I'd be able to finish him off instantly, because PsyGuy's faster,
if it wasn't for that goddam paralysation! That was just downright lucky of him!
ROOM FULL OF FAGGOTS!
Err... it might be confusing why that just happened. Basically, before PsyGuy went down, I used a revive on Roosevelt. Which went down. But before that, I used a revive on.... yeah, it went through a series of revives and one-hit KOs to get here.
Aaaaand, just like you expect from a Snorlax, it uses Rest! Goddam!
Rest is also the reason I didn't use Toxic on it. Unlike Roost and Recover and other such moves, Rest also removes the status effect too. Making it an utter BAST of a move on Pokemon with a really high defence, such as Metagross!
Fortunately for me, it also takes a total of three turns to do. More than enough time to switch Pokemon and pummel that fat-booty into oblivion!
And that's probably the last time we ever see a Snorlax too. Aw.
And also Yay! This is probably the best point in the game to be gaining levels!
It's a fire horse.
You're pitting it with
a washing machine.
Yes, it is well and truly going to die here.
HYGIENE TO THE FACE!
I make Odds look like an animal saint in comparison!
You just lost.
I'll probably never even see you again.
I'm facing the best of the best in Pokemon trainers
right now.
The only way I can not lose to anyone until you've beaten me is if I
die in the next 5 minutes.
It's so nice to have the Pokemon center just 8 spaces away from the fight though. Why couldn't all of the game be like this?
