Use this topic to:

(a) Post what you are currently reading (no way you could have figured that out)
(b) Post your favorite books
(c) Ask for recommendations

I just finished The Fountainhead. My absolute faves are Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials, but that's all I'm gonna say, because I could just rave for hours and I'm sure no one wants that.

The Lovely Bones, Alice Seybold, is great imo.

The Fountainhead was okay, only from a story content standpoint though. When you start thinking about Objectivism, you should probably throw it out a window.

I actually haven't been reading much in the past couple weeks. Last book I finished was Fight Club. It was good, but I really regret knowing what happens in the end (through the movie) before reading it.

Haven't read many true books.

Mostly read comics and 'how to draw' books.

Did read some Hellboy and Isaac Asimov, started Dark Materials but never finished it - same with Eragon.

I need pictures to go with my words. That's how I roll.

Lots and lots of Lovecraft. I've got 4 books full of the guy.

Normally I read lots of Pratchett, but right now I'm reading 'Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World' by Haruki Murakami.

Because it's translated, the writing style is rather odd, but it's a really good read once you get into it.

I'm currently reading two books. I'm trying to read Band of Brothers, but it's been getting put on hold a lot because of my school work. The other book I'm reading is called Smartbomb, which I have to read for school.

Terry Pratchett's Maskerade. I've read the German translation before, but now I finally got my hands on the English version.

Currently I'm reading Another Note The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases that a friend from school loaned me.

My favorite book is The Frog Princess by E.D Baker (which is being made into a movie by Disney, which I hope won't SUCK)

Also just finished reading The Lovely Bones.

I am from Kentucky. What are these "books" you talk of?

Though in all honesty, I don't read much outside of things for school. Lord of the Flies was pretty cool. Does "I am america and so can you" count?
