I hear that Windows Optimizer will make that game run faster.

Why don't you provide a link so everyone can download and run it?

Here you go.

Any and all 'messages' to go along with this are complete and utter rubbish. It's a program that deletes files, while also letting you play a minigame in the process; that's the entirety of it. Saying it represents a lesson is like accidentally spilling a can of paint on a canvas and calling it art!
Thats basically the entirety of modern art.

No but seriously, unless you're going to rash your harddrive, I would not suggest playing it.

The only way to win, is to not play.

Lol, assuming you were stupid enough to play it, it could do some serious damage if the first files it took out were the drivers that controlled PC cooling.

Edit: Argh, so many typos.

I'm going to play the shit out of this game when I get a new computer.

On my old one, of course.

You're telling me you never watched Wargames, Dark?

For shame. :colbert:

Oh, then he's watched Wargames?

Tell me, Dark, so I can know if I have to apologize for my gross negligence or not.

He's pointing out that you said, almost verbatim, the same thing that impmon had posted before.

What good is a work of art that will never be played? In fact, why was the game even made? Why not just tell people that you made this game? No one will actually want to play it, so you could easily get away with it.

But nonetheless, it's an interesting concept. If the overall message is, if you're rewarded for unnecessary violence, should you partake in it? But what does the deleting of programs on your computer represent? The justice system? A higher power, damning you? On that same note, Karma? I like the idea that you're immediately and superficially rewarded, but you later realize you've been punished in a very real way.

You could. Except that since it'd easily only take 15 minutes to make, it would probably require more effort to lie about it than to actually make it!

Or you could just make a computer worm and call it a game.

you're all being foolish. the creator is an artist who has been expressing himself for years in many fascinating ways. if you find his website on which lose/lose is located you can browse his other works. he's quite a creative guy. he obviously means nothing malicious. i think the concept of a video game with real consequences is a fascinating concept, and one managed to see in a different perspective than most. props to him for that. don't be fags about it - he's not trying to make a malicious program, he's trying to make a point.
