I think more of it tends to be "a lot of upstanding member of society webcomics are bad," versus "upstanding member of society webcomics are bad."

I would say that people who can't separate the concepts of "upstanding member of society" and "bad" or regard them as different properties of art are retarded. It's fine if someone doesn't like upstanding members of society, but there is an obvious distinction between "it's bad because it has upstanding members of society" and "I don't like it because it has upstanding members of society".

This may be the Bad Webcomics thread, but it seems like it could really use a good upstanding member of society webcomic just to act as a point of reference. This stereotype is getting rather tiresome.

I looked at Twokinds a bit, and it actually does seem good. There's room for improvement and the young characters really don't look the part (a lot of them look at least 16 years old despite the characters page claiming that they're 10 and 11), but it's still a refreshing change from the dozens of horrible upstanding member of society comics that I've seen from threads like this.

Concession frightens me. I'm bodaciously afraid to view the whole archive, because I've already seen enough from individual links to know what I'm missing, and be glad that I am, in fact, missing it.
