Okay, this is probably obvious enough that you've already checked, but are you sure it isn't still equipped to the pokemon? You say you've checked the bag, but said nothing about seeing it the pokemon still had it.

Also, try checking your PC Pokemon.

I often forget I've left one of them holding something important.

I think you meant you are taking precautions.

I may be getting ready to make a huge booty outta myself after I test this...

Test commencing:

Gabite with Amulet Coin equipped.
Crobat with Experience Share equipped.
Fighting a Gilgar underneath the Cycling Road.
Gilgar decides to be an asshole and use sand attack 14 times in a row.
Knocked of Amulet Coin
Switched to Crobat
Knocked off Experience Share
Gilgar was killed

o.o? Both the Pokemon still have the item equipped, and Crobat got his 75% of the EXP...

I once lost my ditto in FireRed.

I lost my Trick Room TM in Platinum.
I wanted to use it just for it's battle effect after I saw it in this Let's Play. I went to check it and it was gone.
I thought that maybe I forgot to get it but when I checked the clown that gives it out he just said the dialog of what it does.
But the thing is that I never used Trick Room on any of my Pokemon. So I don't know what happened.

I would say either a glitch, you got it before and used it on a pokemon that you gave away, or someone got your game and did something with it.

Same here, I've always understood Knock-Off to disable your pokemon from using the held item in battle as I've always had the item afterwards

Brotip: I never equip my pokemon with any items

makes the care for them that much less

That's not a very good tip, considering held items can boost their attacks by 50%.

And Gardevoir had trace too! That is awesome!


That is even more awesome! Why was I having trouble with this guy before?

And now they've switched order. So they ARE both Last Pokemon!


Aaaand this is the part where I suddenly start to crap up. Fun.

attacks! Even the weak ones do! Even goodam Blissies do!

That's right, Roosevelt is actually healing faster than Luxray can attack!


That should've been a straight walk-over with Roosevelt. Unfortunately, the last Thunder

Fang made her flinch, so I had to switch to a different Pokemon to take the final blow.

Also: What the hell? When did Roosevelt change from a crappy Pokemon that wasn't

even a good tank to a Pokemon that can down half the opponent's team by itself?!


Aaand... I get more than I wagered?

Huh. I guess the cheddar given out must be based on your actual team strength, rather than

the same amount you'd get if you win.


Since... the last battle we had? I mean, winning generally is more fun than losing!

Soo.... what now? Pokemon League?


Well actually, I can't actually get the complete Pokedex and such until I at least see all the Pokemon there is on this stinking continent! So for the next chapter, I'll be going round searching for those last Pokeys before I take on the Pokemon League!


In the meantime, enjoy some good ol' Highly Annoying NPCs while you wait!

Ohh yeah, I completely forgot that I actually needed the HM to be able to perform the move!

I was totaly expecting Volkner to use a full restore on Luxray.
