AWKWARD ZOMBIE

More or less the reaction of the streamers I have seen who have played this game. That it was a good game DESPITE the rabbids, not because of it. And that the developers clearly knew this by forcing you to put a rabbid on your team for no reason and with no explanation why.

This limit is even more frustrating when you take into account that you can only be a party of 3, and the first character also has to be Mario. Oh, sure, your other two team members can be rabbids... but they can't both be non-rabbid characters. Feels like Ubisoft were attempting to force people to give the rabbids "a chance" with this decision... but well... Google+ didn't go over so well when they attempted to force people to use it now did it?

Attempting to force someone to use something to try to make a "Just try it, it's not so bad" stance never works, because you make them resent said thing even more just on the basis of you forcing them to use it.

The fact that that is coming from you says all you need to know about Rabbids.

I think it's just because this way they could ensure you have to play with both Nintendo and Ubisoft properties, and not just either or.

I've never had an issue with the Rabbids as a concept, I just hated that we didn't get any proper Rayman games for the better part of 10 years because of them. But that ball's in Ubisoft's court if anything.

I'm not a Rayman fan, but that statement sits very well with me somehow.
I think it is actually just reminding me of a dozen other series with similar tales.

I absolutely despise the Rabbids. They're marketed for a much younger audience, though, what with their juvenile and immature humor, so I'd be surprised to find an adult who was a fan of them.

I thought this game managed to have some decent jokes and gags with the Rabbids. Dare I say... I found that the humor had some genuine taste at some points.
But to say that redeems Rabbids as a whole or even as a concept is far from rational.
I think the game just simply did Rabbids well.

I don't know much about this game but apparently you are forced to play with Mario as well.

Well, I'm an adult, and I love them.
My brother's an older adult than me and he loves them.
My mother's an even older adult, and she loves them.
My sister doesn't know them, but she likes Unchi-kun, so go figure.
We've all been through and overcome so much shit in our lives that lack of maturity is most definitely not an relevant hypothesis for explaining this love for rabbids. Au contraire, light, easy humour is really something I like to welcome
But it's all in good fun, right? This comic is awesome, just like almost every single one ever done here.
Just thought I'd let you know adults can be prone to loving kids' stuff — like, ummmmmm… Mario? (I was gonna say "video games", but only ignorant idiots say that )

He's the kind of people Chevrolet is looking for their "Real people, not actors" campaign that will love everything no matter how shitty it is.

Nobody would be getting this to only play with rabbids, and it dosen't really change what I said about people liking something even LESS than they did before if you attempt to force them to use it.

Even if they release a new 3D rayman game I'm still not going to forgive the rabbids for existing.

It wasn't just the rabbids that were ignored...
