They were for my BFF's birthday.
I 'won' the birthday by having the best wrapping AND also the best presents mwahahaha.
Also a running joke throughout the evening was my bag of seemingly infinite confetti poppers that I had.
I made sure to use them in such a way that I used my last one juuuust as BFF was unwrapping the big box on the bottom, because (in addition to this) it also had MORE CONFETTI POPPERS



Her mom is super jumpy and basically Squirtle in that gif.


Thank yoouuuu. I sent my mom that picture as well - she taught me how to wrap gifts when I was like 10 years old. None of that lazy GIFTBAGGERY from me - perfectly creased paper and curled ribbons as far as the eye can see. It's bodaciously the one thing I'm good at.

I saw Atomic Blonde tonight, in an AMC theater on the third floor of an abandoned shopping mall.

Most of the mall is unused and blocked off behind barricades and makeshift walls, but you can still see the abandoned storefronts and piles of garbage and dead plants and leftover Christmas centerpieces.


Everything in this picture is behind barricades and inaccessible.


Here's a video of me riding the escalator down from the AMC theater (top floor) to the ground floor - I guess they have a lot of basement mall? Or maybe its built on a hill? I have no idea, can't access it and didn't fancy getting arrested.


THis picture gives a sense of the walls they built to keep you in the... i hesitate to say "inhabited" or "in use" areas.
Also, I always assumed malls had fake plants, but I guess these are all real plants, unless they closed the mall and swapped the plastic healthy ones for plastic dead ones.

That's a lie I didn't go there all the time, I've been there like twice to see a movie. There's apparently a plan to tear that place down and put up an apartment complex with shops at ground level. So I read, dunno how that's coming along.

It really is incredible that they still keep the lights on, though.
