Wanted to slick my hair back with some hair gel but it made my balding so obvious that I just couldn't stand it :(

Was feeling anxious and shitty, then I read a Cracked article about a botched suicide, so now I feel anxious, shitty AND guilty that my problems arent serious enough to feel bad about.

Because I am so out of practice in driving, I rear ended a parked car when parking at home.

I would be having a full blown anxiety and depression attack right now if it hadn't been the car belonging to my dad's fiance. If it had been anyone else, I would've had a nervous breakdown.

Whenever I'm bored of my computer, I play Smash. After a while of that, I get rustled off, so I stop playing.
After that I don't know what to do, so I'm rustled off for awhile.

Colorado shouldn't be too unbearably hot to do that. Or find some other, non-electronics thing to do. Having the passive hobbies with the vidyas is all well and good, but there should be other, more tangible hobbies to accompany them. Especially if you are going to run into situations like this.

Just woke up from cops at the front door, apparently one of my roommate's shitty kids was arrested. Need to get up for work in two hours and now I can't go back to sleep.

I knew bitcoin mining has caused an increase in gpu prices, but I didn't realize just how much. A friend wanted me to put together a partslist for him and I've now realized it's nearly impossible to make something in a midrange budget because a fucking 200 dollar gpu is 500 fucking dollars right now.

Is it because of bitcoin, or is it just that weird part of electronics where it's more economical to get more of something than to get less at a certain point?

Like how you can get a 1-2 TB external hard drive for less than an older 500 GB model.

Nah, it's bitcoin mining. The 580 was just released recently and the msrp is supposed to be 250. GPU prices are normally a bit higher than msrp after release, but never to that extent. Ethereum bitcoin mining is pretty profitable right now so miners are buying as many gpus as they can.

High school made me think I'm socially incompetent but more and more I'm coming to the conclusion that I've just always been surrounded by despicable asshats.

My landlord/roommate was bitching about some of the other tenants we both have both problems with. There's a lot of details but the short version is one woman is falling behind on rent, and apparently in a conversation they had she suggested that I pay more to make up for it.

How out of touch do you have to be to think that's an appropriate response?
