Yeah, pretty much sums up the game perfectly.

The freedom in this game is beyond what you can imagine. Except you cant leave the tutorial area until paraglider

You technically can, but it requires a glitch and you can't really go anywhere once you do.

Ah, and here I was worried that they would abandon all the traditions of 3d Zelda games.

First thing I did was jump off the cliff (and died), then go fight a nearby Bokoblin camp with nothing but a tree branch, and won. Then I went to go talk to the old man because I felt like getting the story started.

Well I didn't mention that without knowing what i was talking about. Basically when you start the game, everywhere but the great plateau is a void area, you instantly void out respawning you back on the great plateau. This mechanic disappears once you acquire the paraglider.

Oh, no! I understood that! I'm just saying that every 3d Zelda game has some tutorial area that it tries really hard to keep the player in (here's looking at you, Mido)... and then someone figures out if they backflip just right onto a rock they can trap they can trap him/herself in the Twilight, or warp to the final boss. I'm just excited to see what glitches will be inevitably unearthed in BotW. Personally, I'd like a return of gluing items to Link's hands.

In lieu of spending my own precious time making an inappropriate edit about Link and old men and rampant nudity, I'll just post the entire Starbomb music video.

You know, the funny thing is, reading the little blurb at the bottom of the page, Katie isn't wrong. In fact, there IS something behind you at the start, it just doesn't spawn at first. Not sure when it appears, but a Korok will appear at the spot you start the game at.

I saw this comic and I couldn't help but think of Fallout Katie and now I've made this.

It sucks and I wish I could've made it better.
