My current team is Decidueye, Salazzle, Machamp, Charjabug (still haven't gotten to the canyon yet) Lycanrock (Sun) and Greninja (Ash)
About as populol as you can get without switching Vikavolt with Raichu and Machamp with Mimikyu, Bewear or Eggsegutor but I generally don't give a shit because Decidueye is fuckin' sweet and Salazzle kicks booty (and is the new hotness)

When searching for Magmar I get totally swamped with a bunch of offers of Mamagars Holding Magmarizers asking for Magmortar.
Do people REALLY THINK that ANYONE will take that deal??
I know me pointing that out is stupid but go look for yourself in avid disbelief at the fact that it's a thing.

My final team consisted of Incineroar (Meororo), Mismagius (Muffin), Magnezone (Corbott), Mudsdale (Muddimoo), Crabominable (Crabagarre) and Goodra (Tenatia).

It's a thing for all trademons. People don't always have access to a friend/reliable stranger/second 3DS to evolve their trade Pokemon. What they do is offer everything someone needs to get the final evolution without losing anything in the process. If someone goes through with the trade, both people end up with Magmortar so it's a net gain.

There are people who go through and chain these trades just to help people out.

Yeah honestly that's like one of the least ridiculous trade requests I've seen in a long time. Plus if you're not planning on using Magmortar competitively, there's no point in saving your magmarizer for a magmar with good nature/IVs/moveset, so all you really need it for is to fill out your 'dex.

Not like those people who were hacking the data of XY and asking for Hoopa and Volcanion before they were even officially announced. And offering a Fletchling in exchange.

I mean, short of managing to get one of those types of pokemon in a trade and then being like Electivire <-> Magmortar and so on, how else are you supposed to trade for one?

I personally did the "I got mine that way and returned the favor by trade-evolving a whole bunch more of them for other people" thing for pretty much every held item trade pokemon in Y for my dex. Same way people will do haunter for haunter, graveler for graveler, etc. My Machamp was bodaciously me swapping the in-game trade machop we'd both raised into machokes. If you check the GTS right now I guarantee you'll see Machoke<->Machoke with a whole mess of them named Macho.

Also, Machamp is my only pokemon who got a genuinely helpful nature (+atk, -speed) aside from maybe my Decidueye (+speed, -def) with bodaciously half of my team being Brave natured.

I'm getting into the competitive scene and my first Pokemon I bred is a male Roselia. I named him Broquet.

I keep getting neutral natured starters and its weird

Like I started with a neutral Rowlet and I didn't want to bother resetting him so I kept it but then I got the other two starters off of Wonder Trade and they were both neutral too? Also lv 1 so they were breeding rejects but still, what.

Also the Litten was shiny, so now whenever I boot up the dex I see shiny Litten and now I must evolve him for an entire shiny line in my dex

Also this is a rental so I'll like give him away maybe idk maybe I'll just shove it back on Wonder Trade

Oh, I get it now... whoever chains through all those trades must be exceptionally magnanimous.

It made more sense back in X and Y when you'd get pokemiles and whatnot super fast that way.

If you're not convinced that the Battle Tree is kind of shitty and unfair, the Vespiquen in the second match is using a strategy that's banned in competitive play because it forces you to run out of PP and either kill yourself with Struggle or forfeit.
