Apologies. I am aware I was being an asshole, that was deliberate, I was reciprocating the tone in which I was addressed. If "Great Handsome Oppressor" had a problem with the term, he could have asked me not to use it, heck, as a mod he could even edit it out without making a scene no? Instead he comes at me with "First of all, don't ever post another "triggered" joke if you want to keep your account free of warnings." Seems pretty hostile, but that could just be how I perceived it.
The rest of the post came off as pretty heated and emotional, as well as being preachy and.. like I've mentioned several times, alarmingly fascist in tone, I probably could have responded to it in a more thoughtful manner, but, I didn't think it was worth the time of day honestly. Like, I get it's a hot-button issue, and it's very personal for him, and honestly I understand it, it has a direct impact on his life, and trust me I don't like Pence anymore than he does. But the way the post was presented was with very little though and zero empathy for people who don't think exactly like he does.
It would have probably been easier to just capitulate, but, I guess there's pride involved when it seems like somebody is attempting to exert some type of power over you.
