Almost 15 years since I first played KH1 and I'm both excited and sad to see that the craziest fucking ride I've ever been on in a video game is ending soon.

Death Stranding's going to be open world and have online co-operative elements. I don't think I've ever lost interest in a game as fast as when I read that news. What's next? Is it going to have survival and crafting elements?

The new DOOM proved that people still love the idea of a series of well-built pseudo-linear series of stages with varied goals and secrets to discover. It'd be nice if more devs took note.

Did you not play MGSV because of those reasons also? Because you know, it was both of those things. This isn't new Kojima ground being tread, and even if it was neither of those things make a bad game at all? Open world and online basically go so hand-in-hand people get upset when they don't because running around a big booty world with a friend is fun as hell.

I played MGSV but I stopped at the end of Chapter 1. The resource-gathering and constant base management became a chore. I just want to see a well-structured game with set stages of progression and points of no return. I want a game more like Snake Eater and less like Phantom Pain.

Conversely, the only MGS game I've ever been interested enough to actually play was MGS5 and thought it was great.

I still have no idea what Death Standing is going to be about but it seems like it could be cool so far

i don't think anyone but kojima knows what death stranding is gonna be about, they only just chose an engine and they're only just now beginning work on it, it's gonna be years before we hear anything concrete

Co-op Borderlands is the best. Recommended combo is an elemental siren with a support gunner soldier. Its amazingly game-breaky Melt everyone and never run out of bullets.

I wish I had someone to play Borderlands 2 with since I did a co-op run of the original myself not that long ago. (I also wish Borderlands 2 and the Pre-sequel wouldn't crash my computer whenever I tried to launch them. Only those two games, too, everything else including beefier shit like Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 work fine even at max settings)

I just got Aerondight and I'm rustled that the Griffin Gear doesn't have a Crossbow so if I want to use Aerondight I miss out on the 6 pieces gear bonus. Gah.

I just learned that Halo 5's multiplayer stuff is apparently free to play for Windows 10 users. Decided to look at it since I haven't touched halo in a decade. It runs more smoothly on this computer than I expected it to run.

Too bad it only lets you play with friends at the moment. It's missing a server browser an matchmaking.

I need friends.

It'll be getting a custom game browser in the future, and has no matchmaking by design. Halo 5: Forge was created partly to allow Forge users to make their maps and modes with a higher level of detail and precision, partly to allow for testing Forge creations with friends without having to port the map over to Xbox first, and, from the way they've talked about stuff recently, partly as a testbed for how to make future Halo games on PC. They're likely going to be putting the Master Chief Collection on PC sometime in the future.

I'm aware of what it's for; it's just a wee bit disappointing with the current state of things, is all.

Mostly just been brushing up on my ability to use Forge, which is waaaay different from what it used to be.

I made a cave and drove around in it.

Tomodachi Life hits a little too close to home because my sister has a higher happiness level than me.

I was lamenting the fact that I had to beat Pokemon White again to be able to transfer my sweet team from soul silver up to current gen so I looked through my ds library for solace. Found Crono Trigger and Glory of Heracles, neither of which I have beaten yet. I'm going to have to try again on those.
