AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I have no ideas, but Final Fantasy V is a fairly silly game and the Four Job Fiesta is currently in progress if you need an excuse to play it.

Gotta have something about the new Zelda game.

Breath of the Wildfire
Link enters the supposedly sacred Forest of Spirits, and finds a lit torch.
As he picks it up, he notices a hint box popping up in the corner saying that fire can affect the surrounding environment.
Link strokes his chin, thinking about the implications...
Cut straight to a mostly-naked Link, running and swinging the torch, looking crazed, while a partly-razed, partly-burning forest lies behind him.

Or at least something involving a pyromaniac Link. It's too good not to do.

Goodnight Princess
A fierce looking Midna and Wolf Link are about to take on a group of Shadow Beasts in the Twilight Realm.
Just as they lunge to attack, Wolf Link vanishes. Midna falls to the ground with a thud, looking shocked and surprised.
Wolf Link materialises in the beautiful, colourful world of Breath of the Wild, summoned by the Link of that game with his amiibo.
Link and Wolf Link live peacefully and frolic in the verdant green fields.
Meanwhile back in Twilight Princess, the Shadow Beasts close in on Midna, as she nervously calls out for Wolf Link...

Side Effects/Contact Your Doctor/Aster Risks:
The Vestal and her crew gather the Asterisks after defeating each of the bosses. The powers of each job are revealed to them. In the lower right hand corner an actual asterisk appears and list side effects that come with each Asterisk.
Merchant *side effects include snide French accent
Ranger *side effects include invitations to a different kind of "role playing" game
Spell Fencer *side effects include translucent pants
Monk *side effects include very un-Monk-like behavior such as exploding and bloodlust

Charming Idiots/Not Okay Cupid/Cupid Stupid:
Edea gets the Angel Bow and shoots an enemy repeatedly with it. First shot charms the enemy. Second one knocks sense back into it. Next shot charms it again, etc, etc. Enemy is shown getting googly eyed and furious in alternating panels as more and more arrows stick in it.

Name Brand/Game of the Name/Plot Thickener:
We meet various characters with telling names.
I'm Tiz Arrior, the righteous Warrior.
I'm Agnes Oblige, duty bound to save the world.
I'm Ringabel, occasionally remembering things.
I'm Edea, the Idealist.
I'm Omninas Crowe, the spooky mage.
I'm Rel Luc Tantvillon, the not so bad guy.
I'm Plotte Relevant, and I'm relevant to the plot.

Scenic Routed/Nemesee You Later/Norende Valley Authority/Bustling:
A new face shows up in Norende and gets shown the sights.
"Here's the fifth shop dedicated to designing super weapons for our beneficiaries, here's the giant hole that probably leads to hell, which brings me to the probably tangentially related demons flying around our heads."

Victimless Crime/...And Onions:
Edea equips the Thief Asterisk and uses Mug on a Panther. Pulls out one of its organs.
"You stole the Beast Liver."

Faithful Job/Pipe Down:
Agnes and crew defeat another Asterisk holder. Switch to scenes of them wearing overalls and carrying wrenches.
"You got the Plumber's Asterisk."
EDEA: "What kind of Job is this mess?"
The Asterisk holder looks up from the ground.
HOLDER: "One that pays."
Bonus points if the holder of the Asterisk looks like Mario.

Bio Bother:
Subject Delta equips the Swarm Plasmid. Sneezes in his helmet, coating the glass with honey.

Hi all! This is my first forum post - but I'm a longtime reader of the comic. I'm a huge fan. I'm just more of a reader/Kickstarter guy - not much of a forum guy, but this community is great and you guys are awesome.

So my idea, (which I thought was good enough to create an account for - please be gentle)

That new batman VR demo at E3 has Alfred, you as Bruce and he tells you basically to suit up and you press the piano keys and you get lowered into the bat cave.

I thought it would be cute, and would fit Katie's deadpan humor to do something like this.

Panel 1:

Bruce is having a party at the Wayne manor keeping up with appearances and all that. Wine glasses and snobby rich people and maybe Comm. Gordon for fun. Theyre all standing around the piano and a professional is playing for them.

Panel 2:
----------
Close up on the pianist's hands as he plays his song and then he hits the right combination of keys.

Panel 3:
----------
The pianist starts getting lowered into the depths of the cave below Wayne manor and everyone stares at him as his expression turns to fear and disbelief.

Panel 4:
----------
The crowd then turns to Bruce and he slyly shrugs in "guess I'm screwed now" coyness.

What do you all think? I know Katie could really nail the facial impressions and I think it's a good fit for AZ. If there were addition panels, maybe the first could establish that it's "Wayne Manor" with a bronze front gate sign. The last could be the pianist coming up in the bat suit. How about you guys?

Tiz executes Life Steal using the Thief Asterisk. Ringabel executes Drain with the Black Mage Asterisk. Edea shows up using the Vampire Asterisk.
EDEA: "That's adorable."
She proceeds to drain an opponent of all their blood.

Psycho Mantis and Liquid Snake are talking about their plans for Shadow Moses, when Ocelot breaks in

Ocelot: Hey guys, remember that time I helped Big Boss totally wreck both of you in the 80's?

Panel 2: Both glare at him

Panel 3:
Ocelot: Yeah, Liquid, remember how Big Boss kicked your booty for trying to organise a rebellion? And then you started crying?

Liquid (offscreen): I remember it somewhat differently...

Panel 4:
Ocelot: Yeah, and then Mantis took control of the new Metal Gear, and we had to get Big Boss to fight him. Those were some good times!

Panel 5: Mantis: You had him fire a rocket launcher at my face! I was eight! I could have died!

Ocelot: Good times!

Hi all, long time reader, first time poster!

So I got a few ideas that I have been bouncing around for a while... mostly from older games, but im gonna roll the dice! Hopefully not too many people find my ideas offensive.

****Prince Of Persia (2008... you know the one with the red and blue scarf taht not too many people liked? yea that one.)****

-Weapon Of Choice/You Call That A Weapon? THIS Is a Weapon!-

PANEL 1: Prince is seen attacking the 'Warrior' boss with his sword and being blocked repeatedly.

Panel 2: Prince looks at Elika and says: "daisies! he keep blocking my every attack!"
Elika: "You can use my magic to help break his defenses!"

Panel 3: Prince: "OK!" or "GOOD IDEA!"

Panel 4: Prince grabs Elika by the ankles and says "Wha...!?!?"

Panel 5: Prince is seen swinging Elika like a glowing magic club whacking the 'Warrior' boss several times towards the edge of the arena

Panel 6: The 'Warrior' Falls off the edge.

Panel 7: Prince sets Elika down she is dizzy and dazed Prince says: "WE MAKE A GREAT TEAM! Ill have to remember that move for next time!"
Elika says: "That... is not... what I meant by use my magic!"

Panel 8: The 'Warrior' is seen climbing the side of the arena for 'Round 2'

Panel 9: Prince looks at Elika again and is about to grab her ankles again while saying; "Time for Round 2!"
Elika: "NO! NOT AGAIN!"

****Super Smash Bros.****

-No More Smash/Inappropriate Taunt is inappropriate-

Panel 6: Travis Touchdown does his 'recharging' beam katana motion while yelling "F*** HEAD!!!" or something equally vulgar.

Panel 7: All the characters stare at him with shock/disgust/anger/disbelief, Captain Falcon is furious, Mario covers Ness' ears as Ness is crying, Kirby is about to throw up, and Yoshi has his mouth is agape.

****Mario Kart Double Dash****

-2 Mario's One Kart/Gross Out Reaction-

Panel 1: Sonic The Hedgehog staring mortified at computer screen.

Panel 2: Ness crying while looking at computer screen. (Im sure Ness is the youngest Nintendo Character if not one of the most innocent thats why he's always crying.)

Panel 3: Kirby is either throwing up or about to throw up.

Panel 4: Star Fox spitting out water at screen.

Panel 5: Show monitor of Mario Kart Double Dash (because the 2 player mode was terrible!! both players had to be in sync with each other!!! it was sooo awkward to play it that way!)

Well thats all I got now.

Augmental:
Katie's apartment is shown getting messier and messier. Norrin grabs cleaning supplies. Katie stops him.
KATIE: "Not yet. Just a little bit more."
Katie throw some garbage on the floor. Koffing, Trubbish, etc appear on the Go App. Katie catches them.
NORRIN: "Now can we clean it?"
KATIE: "Yup."
Brings out matches and gasoline. Last panel has scorched room filled with Fire Types.

Bicolored Lies:
Dr. Mario gets taken to court for excessive and unnecessary prescriptions. Panics on the stand.
MARIO: "They're just sugar pills! Placebos!!"
Mario gets convicted of selling fake goods.

A FIRE EMBLEM FATS COMIC

Subaki is writing at a desk, surrounded by crumpled papers. Hinoka enters, asks what he's doing. He says he's trying to come up with a name for his daughter.
Hinoka uncrumples (?) a piece and reads it. It's filled with anagrams of "Cordelia".
She asks why he doesn't pick one of these. He refuses vehemently, saying it has to be PERFECT.

FIN

Yes. YES. YES!!!

Pellet Gun:
Megaman is shown shooting a steady stream of blasts off panel. Pac-Man blazes through the stream of shots, eating them like pellets eventually taking off Megaman's arm as he passes him.

Mission Specifics:
Snake is advised to use Fulton Recovery Devices and Trank Darts on a mission. Attaches a Fulton to somebody's neck by a rope and watches them struggle for air in the air.
"No, Snake, non-lethal!"
Snake pulls out trank gun. Aims it at another soldier, then points it up at the Fulton balloon and pops it with the dart, dropping the first soldier onto the second soldier.

Needle Sharing:
Snake takes a bunch of soldiers down quietly with tranks but runs out of darts with one enemy left. Snake thinks for a moment. Last soldier gets hit with a dart. Doesn't go down.
SOLDIER: "Ow. What the hell?"
Gets hit with a bunch more empty darts. Still doesn't go down.
"Gross, Boss. Those aren't reusable."

Leg Day Every Day:
Katie and Norrin return home from a long trek looking for Pokemon.
NORRIN: "Five kilometers and not a single Pokemon."
KATIE: "I'm so tired. My feet feel like lead weights."
They put their phones down and waddle off. Through the screen of their phones we see the Pokemon Go app reveal that there's a group of Kecleons hanging on their legs, camouflaged.

Eye Spy:
Big Boss inspects his men. One of whom has a lazy, swollen eye.
BOSS: "What happened to you?"
Soldier looks at him angrily/lopsidedly. We flashback to Big Boss tranking him in the eye with a dart and abducting him for his army.
BOSS: "Oh, right. Here, I keep extras."
Hands soldier an eyepatch.

Poor Substitute:
Trainer tells Mr. Mime to use Substitute. It performs an elaborate dark ritual releasing a stream of blood that takes the form of the substitute while draining its HP. The blood forms into the usual form of a Rhydon doll. Mr. Mime is left standing next to a Substitute that looks nothing like it.
TRAINER: "All that effort and you can't get one that looks like you."

I Question:
Trainer Katie sends Alakazam against Mr. Mime. Mr. Mime uses Substitute, producing a doll that looks nothing like it.
KATIE: "Use Psycho Cut!!"
Alakazam looks at Mr. Mime. Looks at doll. Looks at Mr. Mime. Looks at doll. Hits doll with massive attack. Mr. Mime hits Alakazam from behind with Shadow Ball. Katie facepalms.
KATIE: "IQ of 5,000 my ass."

Tired Tale:
Prince Charming arrives to deliver a kiss to the sleeping princess in your standard fairytale. As he approaches her his phone vibrates. He looks at his phone to see that there's a Snorlax nearby. He runs off.

Clearly with Rio's rather horrid ecological state, Mario and Sonic's bi-annual tradition of competing in the Olympics is probably going to end up being an Utter Disaster if, Y'know, they wound up occurring in the Real World so in honor of Brazil's looming downfall, how about a comic crossover featuring Mario and Sonic characters from Final Smash and Omega Mode sending one character from each comic to avoid Rio's Sub-standard living conditions.

AZ!Daisy swaps herself with FS!F-Corn by shaving both bald and wearing each other's hair as wigs to take each other's place in the olympics and in Smash respectively.

OM!Mario meets with AZ!Roy and offers to sub for him in the olympics and since he wants to be recognized, AZ!Roy agrees without a hint of hesitation.

FS!Sonic has OM!Villager put on a Sonic Mii Costume and go to the Olympics in his place. Simple as that.

The Event is allowed to go on for four weeks at minimum with a few other faces switching places. So that means prepare for a twelve comic dump!

FS1: Hair-Brained Scheme

Panel 1: FS!Sonic is seemingly talking to an offscreen FS!F-Corn in her room as she puts a wig onto what appears to be a porcelain bust.
FS!SONIC: So, let me get this straight? You're avoiding the game you're currently scheduled to play by swapping someone from here in your stead.
FS!F-Corn?: Yep!

Panel 2: FS!Sonic sports a deadpan expression on his face while FS!F-Corn gets another wig.
FS!SONIC: While you take this golden opportunity to show off your moves to the bigwigs of this company?
FS!F-Corn: That's the Plan!

Panel 3: FS!Sonic raises an eyebrow as FS!F-Corn? puts on the wig.
FS!SONIC: and you're sure that absolutely no one will figure out that something's up?

Panel 4: Shia Surprise! Turns out it was AZ!Daisy who's putting on the disguise!
AZ!DAISY: I'M POSITIVE!!!

Panel 5: FS!Sonic glances at FS!F-Corn who is wearing a wig from AZ!Daisy's hair.

Panel 6: FS!Sonic groans in awkward embarrassment.
FS!SONIC: Alright, I'll play along...

AZ1: Roy and Roy at the Olympic Games

Panel 1: AZ!Roy is walking along the hall

Panel 2: ...until OM!Mario stops by with a simple.
OM!MARIO: Hello, Roy! Could you do me a favor?

Panel 3: AZ!Roy flashes a wide ol' smile of glee at the notion of getting recognition.
AZ!ROY: But of course! Anything for Mr. Video Game himself!
OM!MARIO: Good, then take my place at the Rio Olympics!

Panel 4: AZ!Roy reacts in distain
AZ!ROY: And leave behind my loyal fans at home? I shant!

Panel 5: OM!Mario raises an Eyebrow as AZ!Roy hugs AZ!M-Corn to his side.
OM!MARIO: Loyal Fans?
AZ!ROY: And plenty of them! Isn't that right Corn?
AZ!M-Corn: Do I know you?

Panel 6: AZ!Roy's facial expression from the previous panel carries into the next.

Panel 7: AZ!Roy is dressed in Mario's outfit down to the moustache. Bonus Points if Roy Koopa is waving to AZ!Roy and OM!Villager as Sonic

You can go nuts for six comics before we activated the four comic winddown of the Rio Arc.

Link to the Fast:
Link goes fishing. Random bystander criticizes him.
ZORA: "You know the world is under attack, right?"
Link is searching through a pumpkin patch. Farmer speaks up.
FARMER: "I've got things handled here if you want to go rescue the Princess."
Link collects Rupees. Another bystander.
MERCHANT: "Are you aware that there are more important things than money right now?"
Link chases Cucco. Maiden speaks up.
GIRL: "Maybe save the world before you play games with farm animals?"
Link stomps away frustrated. His stomach rumbles. He pulls out one of his Jars with a bug in it. Eats the bug.

Alternate execution just has Link trying to fish and being interrupted constantly before he screams in frustration at them because they're scaring the fish and he's hungry.

Let Them Eat, Snake:
There's a joke to be written about Snake's army getting hungry and him insisting that they just forage like he does.

Season that Bun:
Fire Emblem Avatar follows expectant couple around through various stages of pregnancy, impatient for child to be born. Final panel is at the baby shower. The parents open the gift from Katie. It's a baby-sized helmet and battle axe.
