Makes sense, thanks man. Do you think that's why they got a different voice actor to voice the main character in this one? Since it's not really Big Boss?

Actually, the main reason for that is that Kojima wasn't satisfied with Hayter's interpretation of Snake and wanted a big name actor. The Japanese version has Akio Ōtsuka as every Snake since the first one. In an interview, Hayter explains it in more detail.
