My friend in Japan finally accepted my Skype contact request after I lost everyone on my old Skype.

I start working at my new job in less than an hour.

I got the job.

My supervisor gave me an official job offer and told me about the fringe benefits (like shares I'll get in the company, which is the 5th biggest IT company in the world) and insurance plans and yearly boni and holidays and it's all great. All things considered I start at just a little below 40k/year and three weeks of paid holidays per year.

Apparently the project manager had no idea I was an intern this whole time?

I'm finally getting my will to create back. I'm going to be spending as much time as I can in Blender and Unreal Engine 4 before it suddenly disappears again.

I gave away the pet turtle I had had for 11 years yesterday to a friend who had a friend who could take care of it, and they sent me a picture of it today in its new home and it's looks very nice.

Just attended a Get Into Retail programme Taster Day to see if I can get into a 4 week work experience program which possibility of a job at the end.

I got a call an hour after it to say I've been successful!

Finally, something to do. I've been tired of applying to jobs and not even getting anything.
Even if I don't get the job at the end, it's still experience at a well known business (New Look) that'll be sure to increase my chances at finding work.

More on this, I have Asperger's that makes it difficult for my social skills, and yet I feel not one bit anxious, I feel excited to get out and talk to people. I've been sitting at home far too long.
I felt more open at the Taster Day, I was talking with people I'd never met before without feeling anxious at all.

I'm improving.

I only have one more presentation to prep for in a week, and then I am free of homework for three months. Also, Sloth and I are getting married in like, two weeks, so that's pretty rad.

Parents are going on vacation and leaving me home alone for about two weeks. This is also known as a Pantsless Alcohol Fortnight.

I just learned that the guy who made the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny has been making music since. It's actually pretty good.

There's been a couple of huge and magnificent pigeons hanging around my balcony on a regular basis.

Also today at work a coworker I hold in high esteem and who knows everything about the project and is basically the second in command asked me for help for a CSS problem and I managed to help her. I felt competent for the rest of the day.

Also also my mother's homemade rhubarb jam.
