Has anyone else on Xbone been having this problem? I'm thinking I just need to get a new controller but if anyone else has been having this problem there may be a better explanation for it.

Haven't had that problem over here. How old is your controller? Sometimes the left analog just wears out and starts tilting ever so slightly in one direction. It's happened to me with all the 360 pads I've owned over the years, but never my Xbone controllers.

Guess I gotta get a new controller :|

I finally got PotG with Reinhardt for killing the entire enemy team defending the point
proudest I have ever felt in a video game for a while

Wish I had a cool PotG intro for him but oh well.

Ooh I had that one in the beta. I'm prolly gonna re-buy it once I get the game and once I get those mad coins.

I know the Highlights thing shows at least one previous PotG, awesomely even if you didn't actually get the PotG, you can still see what it would have looked like. (I saw mine as Junkrat, circle-steering my riptire around into the dogpile that tried to run around behind me, killing myself but taking two of them out on the point along with me, followed by a third who ran into my post-death grenades.

I have a GTX950 so I'm gonna have to figure out how that ShadowPlay function works and see if I can't pull up and record my Lucio one.

The Highlights reel has been a hilarious embarrassment for me. It showed me as Bastion mowing down a team, only for everyone of them to be revived.

Then it cut off right as Reinhardt made it at point blank range right before I got killed by the entire enemy team that I supposedly shut down.

If that was on Illios and Lucio had a fancy intro, *waves* I was super excited to get that PotG.

It was on Illios, haha. I can't remember if the Lucio had a neat intro or not though. My in game name is Swagmaster, so if you remember seeing that name at all, then it could have been me.

I've realized that I can't play Genji or Tracer. I play with really low sensitivity because of CS:GO, and so it's hard to constantly turn around, which they both basically require. It also makes it hard for me to counter those two. Oh well, I suppose.

I really like playing Genji but I can't wrap my head around Tracer or Reaper. They're much more gank-focused and I'm not really about that lifestyle. Genji is also gank-heavy but to a lesser extent than those two. I'm also terrible at McCree but that's because I'm not enough of a cowboy

Mccree and Reaper are probably my best characters. Mccree's left click feels a lot like the deagle from CS, so I can get headshots pretty consistently with it. Hell, I outsnipe Widowmakers a lot of times with him. That's probably because they're just bad Widowmaker's though. I mainly only play Reaper on Illios, which seems to be his best map. Except on Ilios: Well...then I play Soldier most of the time.

I hate Hanamura. Probably because I like playing gank characters and it's hard to gank on that map because of how easy it is to defend the second point.

This game.

It is a good game.

It's slightly buggy for me-models take about 30 seconds-a minute to load, and oftentimes I spend a not insubstantial part of the match blind-firing, but that's just my hardware being fairly old by now.

There's also something weird where my premature reload and weapon switch animations tend to cancel halfway through with no input on my part. It's kind of annoying, and really inconsistent. Reloads can USUALLY work if i hold the key, but not always, and I don't have any clue what's going on with the weapon switching, but it's not a problem that makes the game unplayable or unfun.

My favorite character so far is probably D.VA, though my dog does not like the nerf. The flash made her go freakin' nuts.

I'm so conflicted, I want to buy this game since I loved playing the Open Beta

yet at the same time I don't want to get it until Bilzzard gets off their asses and admits 20 tick is bad and they should feel bad.

That 20 tick is retarded yeah, though in combination with the fuckhueg hitboxes it's not like anything matters any more. Not really suited for competitive play.

That said, played the game for 4 hours straight today. It's a ton of fun.

20 tick?

Quoted from a reddit post:

"Tick rate is the frequency with which the server updates the game state. This is measured in Hertz. When a server has a tick rate of 64, it means that it is capable of sending packets to clients at most 64 times per second. These packets contain updates to the game state, including things like player and object locations. The length of a tick is just its duration in milliseconds. For example, 64 tick would be 15.6ms, 20 tick would be 50ms, 10 tick 100ms, etc."

Basically the higher the tick rate, the more often the game state is updated, which means the server has a more accurate picture of where you are and what you are doing, and vice versa for the client. Most modern FPS's use 64 or even 128 tick. Overwatch uses 20 tick which was an acceptable tick rate... back in the 90's. It relies heavily on the server predicting where you will be and is often the cause of why you died to a sniper even after you ducked around a corner and why on your screen your moving really fast and doing sick tricks and shit and then you die and the kill cam shows something completely different.
