I was starting to like Mccree a lot yesterday. Now I'm in love with him. He completely shits on mei and tracer, and even bastion if you can get behind him long enough to E.

My final thoughts

-Mei is bullshit
-Full team of Junkrat is bullshit
-every character needs nerfed except for the tanks
-Bastion of the game goes to Bastion
-just make a movie already you weirdos

Still super fun though, despite the bullshit

I feel like all of the tanks need a little bit more damage. They're all ridiculously close range to begin with, and slow. I feel like I have no way to defend myself as a Reinhardt if someone gets too close. I'm a huge dude in armor with a massive hammer, people should be wary of getting within hammer-range. It just feels like, with how slow my hammer swing is, it should do more damage.

I think I'm going to end up maining Lucio. Hopefully I can find teams who understand I am a mobile healing beacon who isn't going to chase after them if they run the fuck off by themselves; they're on their own, I'mma focus on healing the group as a whole and smacking Reaper the fuck back the second he comes out of wraith form.

And having faced off against an aggressive Rein as Symmetra for most of a payload map, I can say that it does quite a bit of damage, it just doesn't seem like it if you're testing it against bots.

mei is mostly fine she just needs to have her freeze be slower. the fact that you can freeze people so quickly is... kind of extremely dumb. her damage output is fine and the walls are pretty neat and she does have extremely hard counters but god she should not freeze anyone that fast. or maybe have her do it based on health, with higher health characters taking longer to freeze.

Well that was fun while it lasted. Didn't get to play nearly as much as I wanted to.

These final 2 weeks until the game's release are gonna be long. I'll be stoked when it comes out.

We should plan an Overwatch playdate! Seems like enough of us would be interested in grouping up and beating some booty.

I would absolutely love to do some get-together type stuff. I've been missing out on doing social gaming stuff since the Homestuck forums were nuked.

If you guys are ok with doing fun stuff occasionally like a full team of tracers or something, then I'd be down to play. My irl friends are fun to play with but they refuse to do stupid shit like that, and stuff like that is 50% of why I like playing games in the first place.

Yeah no I would really hope we'd occasionally just fuck around. If not for stuff like Class Wars and zombies and completely randomized loadouts and shit we'd do in TF2, I would have been done with that game in a quarter of the time I've sunk into it.

Yea exactly. When my group of friends still played League, I always tried convincing them to all play tanky support characters and they never once agreed to it. Funny thing is, is that since tanks are so strong in the current league meta, it would probably work now, haha.

Like, if we can find some exploitable map geometry, I want to cooperatively work to take Symmetra, knock her back outside the map bounds and drop a teleporter, have a Roadhog hook everyone else through, etc.
