AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I looked over Brock from Cockfighting Society's shoulder while he played it today. Seems really "meh" overall, like they tried to combine MOBAs and Borderlands and Overwatch all together but didn't actually add anything unique or memorable. Definitely does not seem like a 50-60 dollar game.

Overwatch does a good job at making its heroes interesting by going into more lore about them, with Battleborn, it honestly just feels like they're there to just be playable, instead of being a character you can begin to like. That, and it feels like Battleborn hardly takes itself seriously in a scenario where it feels like things should be more serious. Borderlands 2 knew it was a game, and had very over-the-top moments, but still didn't let that stop it from having a very good story that was fun to follow through, especially considering it has one of the greatest villains ever made. Battleborn? "Nah, the universe is ending, who the hell cares?"

I know I'll be getting Overwatch, and I think I won't miss anything by skipping on Battleborn.

My friend got me into the beta for Gigantic and it sounds like how you guys are describing Battleborn. The art and all looks nice but I'm still confused how exactly to "win" the game. The characters also don't have much personality beyond what they look like.

Oh they have personality, they're just huge cliche's, like the "Hardcore, heavily trained military man with a love of action and explosions"(Oscar Mike), or the "mentally unstable AI", all of it is uninteresting to me.

Other than that, I just got the new Ratchet and Clank, and it's actually really fun! Feels like a fresh take on the game I loved as a kid, and I'm really enjoying the revamped level design, it feels like a lot of love and care was put into this being a "movie based game", then again, it's a game based on a movie based on a game.

Can't wait to see how things go later on.

Interesting, and here I thought Battleborn was advertised as a game that's suppose to, in some ways, be a parody because this seems very easy to not make cliche.

My brother got an Amazon gift card for my birthday so I preordered Car Fox Zero. I can't wait to play a tower defense game starring Slippy Toad and Uncle Touchy

Rocket League is on sale.

This means I bought Rocket League.

Valve added a "prime" matchmaking to CS:GO where you link your phone number to your account and you get matched up with other people that have linked a number to their account. This should cut back on the number of smurfs/cheaters in matchmaking. Nice.

I actually played some TF2 with people and stuff, rather than opening the game, messing with my loadouts, playing for 5 minutes by myself against bots and then stopping. I am incredibly rusty but still play a decent defensive demo and overall pyro.

I got Star Fox and judging from all the review scores I'm ready for a totally average experience. Also I'm prepared for Slippy's Magic Uncle Robot Jamboree

Rocket League actually runs surprisingly well on my laptop (like 20 fps), not great but workable.

unfortunately I lack a controller so my rocket car just does serpentine maneuvers around the field all day.

Ratchet and Clank is good for the 40 dollar price tag. It definitely shows off the graphical capabilities of the PS4! My only complaint is that the bosses felt like they belonged in an MMO with as much health they have(especially the final boss...) I also feel like the ending was kind of...there, its a classic "guy wants to do this. Told he can't, does it anyways" story...they probably omitted some stuff for sake of making the movie relevant, but then it makes me wonder why they just didn't release it next to the movie...

Tldr good Gamez worth the price, go buy.
