Nah it ain't no Junji Ito. It's going to be hard to put down though, it was a very enthralling read for me.

Been watching several series.

Lupin the 3rd Part 4 has been fantastic so far. It just oozes style and the new recurring characters are solid.

BBK/BRNK (Bubuki Buranki) is neat. The animation and character designs are superb, but the plot is a bit crazy right now because it only really starts after a timeskip in the first episode. That, and the show keeps piling on additional concepts in each episode. It needs to slow down. Now that I think about it, it kind of feels like the premise for a JRPG or some other kind of videogame that was instead turned into an anime.

Dimension W is good. Plot is easily followable from the get-go, exposition is given in reasonable doses (and intentionally not given at times, which is always a plus). It's a bit odd hearing Jotaro Kujo's voice coming from someone else, though.

Watched some episodes of Space Dandy, I liked it but it seems pure comedy series have a hard time holding my interest.

Watched Baki The Grappler, it was pretty dumb and the animation was horrendous at times, but I still somewhat enjoyed it.

Watching Hajime no Ippo at the moment and it's pretty great so far.

There's a plot, it's just very very very discreet in the first 20 episodes or so.
…Yeah.

A real man doesnt need to be led around by a plot, he just needs to guide himself by the shining beacon of freedom that is booty

Also started Tokyo Ghoul. I'm in :RE already.

Man, half the human characters are worse than most ghouls. Which is kinda the message the manga is trying to tell I guess?

Randomly stumbled onto GATE on Sunday.

Never really watched a lot of soldiersy stuff before, but I really like it.
I like when a series focuses more on the social and political side of things than the fighting.

Started reading Berserk a while ago, and I did not expect Guts to have such an entourage of young kids who are probably so emotionally and mentally scarred but somehow still have time to add comic relief. At least whats-her-face is (hopefully) gonna become something other than a second damsel in distress.

I went back and finished the second half of Naruto Shippuden after originally dropping it. Now I can say I've done that at least.

Honestly, if you skip the filler, Naruto isn't too terrible. Some of the early fights are great. The characters are still pretty dumb though.

I watched the Boruto movie recently and actually enjoyed it.

It has some characters I enjoy who actually have some development. Then there's your THERE WILL NEVER BE PEACE DON'T YOU SEE tier villains and basically all the female characters are only good for looks, haha.

Sasuke was awful all the way till the end.

Yea, I'm pretty sure Kishimoto has admitted to being terrible at writing female characters.

I agree with Sasuke being trash. Might Guy and Rock Lee were the best imo.

Definitely, I waited too long to watch part 3 but I ended up really enjoying it despite it's cheesiness. I was actually considering rewatching part 1 & 2 some time.
