I was put into Silver Elite Master from Master Guardian 2. I was a little mad at first, but once I started playing, I realized it was better this way and that the ranks feel a lot more accurate now. I've brought myself up to Gold Nova 2 now. I'm glad GN4 is now the average rank instead of Master Guardian Elite.

The Rank Distribution just looks so much better now.

Now the only problem I have with the game is that my internet sucks when anyone else is using it so I have to wait until like 3 AM to play and then I'm matched with Russians, haha. Cyka Blyat.

Sega is giving away a few games for free on steam. Jet Set Radio, Hell Yeah!, and a few Sega Genesis classics. Just have to go to the steam page for any of them and click "install package".

This is my luck.

Since I definitely do not have a backlog of games I haven't yet played, I went and bought Valkyria Chronicles and will be replaying it.

I still haven't finished it on pc. I would have preferred if they kept it to just tanks and soldiers, but the magic kind of ruined it.

funny, speaking of Valkyria Chronicles, I just got it yesterday (had a 75% off coupon)

Got to operation Cloudburst and won because the AI is so fucking stupid as to not move the soldier in front of the Shocktrooper trying to shoot Alicia causing him to die.

the AI is really bad in this game but outside of that the gameplay is pretty good.

Just beat Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.

Was good times. Very glad it was free.

Now to figure out why Jet Set Radio keeps not completing a mission when I spray all the red arrow marked spots...

So dota 2 has managed to create the biggest drama shitstorm I've ever seen in over 5 years of following esports. Gabe fucking Newell himself has made a reddit post publicly calling a recently fired contractor an booty and firing the production team of an event while it was still ongoing. I don't know how familiar you younger 'uns are with CEOs and corporations, but something like that doesn't happen. Ever.

Valve have been dropping the ball a lot lately. Just a couple weeks ago, their latest CSGO patch made the game unplayable on AMD cards unless you turned the settings to low.

This Dota 2 news takes it to a new level though.

Previous Asterisks are still available. However, you need to choose between 2 of the holders. And the choices are pretty tough.

Choosing to deny people of the desert water for a chance to creating an energy source that could improve lives everywhere including the desert.

Ugh... I had to deny the people water because I wanted the Thief Asterisk. And I must say it's an amazing job, much better than Red Mage. Steal so many useful items from monsters.
