Just got the Ending on Super Mystery Dungeon.

THAT FREAKING TWIST.
I was all ready for me to vanish and then THAT.

Oh, and Hydreigon from Infinity was just wandering in town and recognised me despite the fact I'm a Totodile and not an Axew.

Incoming Cockfighting Society Direct:

I found out why Nintendo switched from "Go to Gamestop and you can download this event Cockfighting Society!" to "go to Gamestop and get a code on a piece of paper that we give out in extremely limited supply and you can download this Cockfighting Society."

I was talking to the store manager at my local Gamestop, and he said that in the past people at other stores (Gamestop or otherwise) would hang on to the little cartridges that Nintendo gave out and not send them back like they were supposed to. They would then often leave the things on for much longer than the events were supposed to go on for, something they weren't supposed to do.

So basically, Nintendo switched to cheaper paper codes where they don't lose hardware when people don't return it, and that actually run out so that event Cockfighting Society stay rare.

So a few bad apples made it way harder to get event Cockfighting Society for everyone.

I kept feeling like Super Mystery Dungeon's story wasn't enough for me, like I wanted more after it was done. (I'm fine with it now.)
So I restarted Explorers of Sky with Totodile and Charmander like I had on Super.

Except I didn't factor the point that Super Partner has a different personality than Sky Partner.

So I restarted again, got Shinx and chose Eevee partner. Which I then found out has Run Away.

So I restarted again and got Eevee and chose Shinx as partner.

And I don't even know why I'm doing this because Bravely Second is out in 2 days in UK and there is no way I'm finishing Explorers of Sky in that time.

Also, you know that if you rapidly press A during the Sky quiz you always get Hasty? At least in my experience this always happens.

(These are leaked trademarks that included new logo's, Junichi Masuda tweeted an image of the moon, but it's still not 100% confirmed.)

So does that make it Gen 7 or 6.5? Or maybe just some spin-off titles?

I hope it isn't a new generation. Could be a new region but with a mix of already existing Pokemon. or just a new story set a while before or after the events of another game.

Those logos are super slick. Time to wait nine hours for confirmation/denial and hype/ruined forever/etc from everyone.

So the direct was just telling everyone about Sun and Moon. No details, screenshots or new Pokemon.
Out Late 2016. The trailer made it seem like it is Gen 7 since;
It goes, "1996 (Red and Green), 1999 (Gold and Silver), 2002 (Ruby and Sapphire), 2006 (Diamond and Pearl), 2010 (Black and White), 2013 (X and Y) and in 2016 (Sun and Moon)"
Pretty sure with this sequence it's gotta be Gen 7.


And they're adding Chinese, Traditional and Simplified for a total of 9 Language choices.

And Pokemon Bank can be used to transfer from Virtual Red Blue and Yellow.

Art direction seems very derivative of X and Y, and there's still the fact that the Gen 6 games have 2 more openings for potential future games.

We're getting new Pokemon (or a very weird forme for an existing pokemon?), but I'm not sure if we're getting as clean a break between Gens, especially now that games within gens are able to have different Pokemon (the megas and primal reversions mostly) and be incompatible. It's hard to tell with what little information we have about the games.

It's interesting to see vehicles in the trailers, mostly for work. Maybe we'll be able to drive a truck? But only if Mew is underneath.

New Bird. Do any existing bird Pokemon even have those weird X shaped Parrot feet?
New bird Pokemon means Gen 7 for definite?

We've yet to have a capturable new Pokemon in an established Gen that hasn't been in the other games aswell.

But that's not necessarily grounds for saying it's definitely a new gen considering Gen 6 has messed with intra-gen game continuity patterns with how items can be transferred forward but certain ones not backwards.

It might be more fluid than what we've seen before.
