Armsthrift is amazing when you have a Donnel Father because the kid gets insane Luck Growth, to the point some can even cap at 50 or at least near it, making any weapon unbreakable. I remember having Owain with Misstletain and after like 25 battles he only lost 1 point of durability

As a sidenote why do people hate Donnel so much? He's among my favorite parent units

Donnels amazing, he always marries marribelle for me (aside from when I was unlocking S supports with him)
War Monk Brady with Donnel as Dad has 52 luck, so its impossible for his weapons to decay and he has a 52% chance of not dying on fatal hit. He heals 80% of his health + Damage done with Sol. Just give him a bolt axe and killer axe and send him off on his own. After maxing his stats I had him just pair up with Cynthia his wife and soloed the entire Priam level.

Probably because Donnel has low caps, so he's not as great when maxed out as other units will be.

I like him too, though.

I don't get how he has low caps when I thought, for the most part, the caps were based on classes and not on the characters themselves

nope

that has never been the case, as far as i know. every character has their own stat caps and growths.

Donnell was one of my best characters regardless of his caps, he's a fantastic Hero

It's by character, but that hasn't really mattered before since characters had one class and could upgrade into one of two(usually) upgraded ones, with higher caps

I haven't really noticed stat caps in Awakening, but that is probably because it's so easy to grind characters to optimal level.

I did a playthrough of Radiant Dawn not too long ago though and got really annoyed when Sothe would only level up in luck for about half the game because I maxed his other stats so early...

I remember I maxed out EVERY stat of Shinon's in RD, he was also my #1 MVP. You almost wouldn't believe a bow unit could do it.

If you get to that point in the game where peeps be gettin married, do they just marry the person with the highest social link with them? (of the other gender of course)
What if they don't have ANY links with the other gender at all, is it just random? I know that once you reach S rank they marry, which is how my MC and Kelloggs married, but other than that I got no clue what happens.

Chrom is the only character who HAS to get married, ergo he automatically gets married at the end of the first Act. For every other character it's completely optional. When a female character reaches an S support and gets married, then their child will appear on the map in a sub mission. If you completely ignore the S level supports it's possible to go through the whole game without meeting another child character.

So it doesn't matter if they get married after the first Act, it'll still be good and their kid can show up?

So someone found out more about the ballistician class. Its turret ability uses your might, and hits everyone in its blast zone. Also, if your might is determined by a magic weapon (the shining bow), the ballista will do magic damage.

Also, while the translated text for barrel modification says it increas range by 1 and decreses radius, that's wrong. It has the same range (except its 1-5 instead of 2-5) and the radius goes up 1.
old radius

midified radius

it's stupidly powerful. The turret can't kill though.

yeah basically. You can space those supports as long as you want.
