Haha. Had some trouble with Grigori on hard mode. Gave my sorcerer pawn regular dark boon and took care of him in 2 minutes flat.

Got Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Basically the same game as the last one in terms of gameplay. All the menus are the same, Lara's gone through little-to-no design changes, a lot of the animations are the same, stuff like that. The upside is the gameplay is still pretty good and nothing really needed to be fixed so whatever. You can craft arrows now by just clicking left-click outside of aiming, I can't remember if that was in the first game.

Also it's fucking gorgeous holy shit this game looks so good.

Should I get Undertale or Shovel Knight? I have some cheddar, I already got Game Dev tycoon. I made NinToddDo.

Shovel Knight, and get a physical copy of the game if you can (I don't believe their that hard to find yet). As for Undertale, I'd say hold off on it for a year, at least, to see if they drop any info on an updated version of the game.

it depends on whether or not you like platformers or rpgs more, really.

personally i don't dislike shovel knight but i played about two levels and kind of felt like i had done everything the game had to offer, and the whole time it didn't really rise above "oh hey this sure is a lot like an NES platformer" and i have bodaciously no nostalgia for anything from nintendo so it kind of fell flat on it's face.

undertale kept me completely entertained for a good long period of time, was very charmingly unique, and entirely overhyped because jesus christ nobody shuts up about undertale.

so i would say go for undertale but just kind of try and forget what everyone has said about it. don't even read the steam store page. it's an rpg with shmup mechanics. that's all you need to know.

I think Shovel Knight is more fun, but Undertale has a much better story. Depends which you prefer in a video game to be honest. They're both good games though.

Ok, I'm going to with Shovel Knight then. Undertale could wait a bit.

Final Fantasy Explorers is neat

The combat's not quite as satisfying as a monhun game, it's less visceral and more hack n' slashy, but I've only fought the first boss mon so far

Pretty cool custom skill system + 14 unlockable jobs beyond the 7 starting ones

Also gathering animations are about .2 seconds

So far my favourite job on FF EX is Monk, Counter to dodge damage and make next hit a critical, Rising Phoenix for increased damage,
Aura Cannon for this;

while this is true, shovel knight has the added benefit of not just having to play shovel knight now. i found SKs gameplay to be ehhh worthy but PLAGUE knight, holyshit way different. and the story was better as well. spectre knight is also coming soon as well, so you have even more gameplay INC.

it really just boils down to which one are you going to buy first, cause both are great

I got Platinum Trophy on Until Dawn, although on my first playthrough I didn't use guides at all since I want to keep it natural.

Honestly think it's one of my favourite games of past few years, it kept me on edge. Although it does become moot point when you know which points can get characters killed, although it didn't kill my enjoyment of the game. Really hope there'll be sequel.

Also started Bloodborne and... it's more on offensive side compared to Dark Souls, isn't it? Feels like most of combat I have to be very aggressive to get by, whereabouts in Dark Souls I had to play it safe and be careful most of time. Of course, I've only beaten 2 bosses so I assume I'll have to play it safe more so than usual but yeah, honestly think I prefer Dark Souls. Still think it's great fun to play, mind. I just hope I don't mess up my character stats, which is always main thing that I get worry about playing these games, but meh if it's too messed up I'll just start new character I guess.

Firewatch was pretty good and then it kind of sizzled out and immediately ended almost exactly three hours in.

I dunno it wasn't bad but I hope like, I can go back in and something maybe will change if i do different things?? I can't imagine it would though.
