I think the most surprising part of that tier list has to be Roy.
Everyone thought he was great before, and now even Bowser and Robin beat him.

And right when Ike placed above Roy, Cloud had to come into the picture...

Okay. So, I guess I'm part of the underdog group because the highest tiered character of my 5 mains is Lucario and the lowest is Lucina.

Honestly, the most surprising one, to me, is Robin. I know some people who trash talk Robin for days, and I personally have a hard time making efficient use of their abilities. I would have never imagined they'd rank higher than Marth, at any point. I thought Shulk would fare better, on the other hand.
But I'm someone who mains low- and bottom-tier characters such as Link and Ganondorf, so I'm not particularly an authority.

Captain F seems to be my highest ranked fighter.

^Same. Every other character I play is F or below. I do play Sheik from time to time when I get bored of my other played characters, but I just don't think she's as much fun because I suck with her.

My highest is probably Ike, but good advice is to pick up one of the high tier easier-to-play (aka the ones people think are braindead) characters like Mario, he's pretty smooth, well rounded, and easy to control and understand, in case of that really skilled high tier guy you end up running into anywhere.

Or just pick someone like Little Mac and play defensively on the center ground. Usually works.

I play Sonic occasionally, but I'm not sure he'd count as even a side character. Next highest is Megaman but even then, Samus accounts for probably more than 90% of my play time. Low tiers represent.

By the way, where would the Mii Fighter be placed on the tier tree?

Mii fighter is on the tier list. He/she's on the bottom, aside from the Brawler, which is one tier up.

As a clarification, the Mii fighters are considered with their 1-1-1-1 movelist, as this is what most tournaments allowed (since most tournaments don't allow custom movesets).

Marth got a slight buff. Nothing too big, but hopefully it's enough to brings him up at least one tier. Down air feels a lot better now at least.

It's a hadoken input; shouldn't be hard. That said, the sick aerial combos are quite hard to pull off, because of all the conditions to make one move after another.
