In the event that he actually did have a full team of 6 Pokemon, I think that team would probably be something like Marowak, Mandibuzz, maybe Mr. Mime, Snorlax, Slaking, and something ludicrously overpowered, like Arceus or Rayquaza.

I think Judgment would be more fitting than Hyperbeam. Gravity, Detect, Bone Rush, Taunt, and Trick Room could also work. Possibly something that poisons or burns, too.

Just make him change phases (movesets) after you "defeat" him, as if he switched to another Cockfighting Society, no?

He beat it in an hour, about 2 hours total of fighting, and it took 9 on-stream attempts, in addition to how many times it took on the show.
