If they do the same kind of combat and movement upgrades DS2 gave, with the more arcadey feel of DS1, it'll be an amazing game.

And here I have been using the general game thread talking about Bloodborne.
I use a mainly skill build, currently only use the Threaded Cane but plan to use Blades of Mercy as a secondary when I finish Eileen's quest line.
Currently at about 30 Vitality, 15 Endurance, 30 Skill and 15 Arcane. Don't plan on building Strength or Bloodtinge. I'll do a strength build on another character. Currently got all the shortcuts unlocked in the Forbidden Woods. Next is that boss.
This will be my Moon Presence run though, I'll do the easier endings as I try out other builds.

And I really need to finish Dark Souls. I got up to 4 Kings and got demotivated from losing so much health getting to them.
And I still need to get Dark Souls II.
Man I have so many games I need to get and finish.

I also want to mention one more thing.
So far in Bloodborne, Father Gascoigne has by far been the hardest boss I've had to fight. He killed me 7 times before I got him.
Each boss after that, including optional ones before Forbidden Woods (Except Cleric Beast) I've killed first try.

Oh man, I am feeling pretty accomplished on Bloodborne right now.
I managed to beat Martyr Logarius on my 4th try.

I love PS4's ability to record gameplay.

I've also beaten Amygdala and Rom, both on my first try.
I died once to Shadows of Yharnam.
So far the bosses which have given me the most trouble.
Father Gascoigne - 7 Deaths.
Martyr Logarius - 4 Deaths.
Darkbeast Paarl - 3 Deaths.
Cleric Beast - 2 Deaths.
Shadows of Yharnam - 1 Death.

Everything else I did first try.
I've fought everything except Chalice Dungeons up to The Blood Moon appearing.

It's been pretty fun keeping track of Twitch plays Dark Souls. I believe they can do it now, although Blighttown and Sen's Fortress will prove especially challenging.

New system that pauses every 2 seconds to wait for chat input. It's painstakingly slow to watch, but at least they're getting somewhere. I just keep tabs and watch the edited highlight videos. They already beat Capra demon.

The freeze engine thing is basically a cheat and there was a cheat enabled from the start to disable weapon wear.

I was referring to the various infinite everything cheats they were using previously. At least for a little while until they were disabled after people complained. The weapon wear thing seems fair enough since the attack button will be pressed far too often and that'll just ruin every weapon they get. I don't have much of an opinion of the chat input pause. It's certainly not "democracy mode" from TPP (which they did try in this game at one point from what I've heard).

What level were you when you fought Martyr Logarius? I'm level 78 and he is just slaughtering me, and co-op is still so broken that I can't find anyone to help. I have no idea what I'll do when I get to NG+. Also, how the hell did you beat Micolash on your first try?!

I don't remember. Around the 40/50s I think? I know I beat him before I went for The One Reborn.

Micolash wasn't really hard, just gotta keep him in a stun lock and stay close to him. He never actually used his star explosion thingy on me. Attack him, sidestep when he uses the tentacles, continue attack.
NG+ was another matter though.

I've actually gotten Platinum on Bloodborne since then. Bloodletting beast (Wormhead one) was the definite hardest boss for me.
I never had PS+ either so I had to solo everything.

that feel when you boot up a new game of BB cause you havent played it in awhile and you are just still breezing through it with no deaths, no worries, no fear on any boss or mob :(

DS3 needs to be out now goddamnit

So iunno who's still playin Bloodborne around here, but if you haven't in a while and you're curious about the new DLC.......you gotta get it.

It's far and away some of the best content in the game. I would absolutely place it above the DS1 dlc in most every respect. The new bosses are awesome, the weapons are amazing, and the level design and aesthetics are fantastic. Easily bumped Bloodborne to my absolute favorite From game.

The last two bosses in the DLC are incredible, shining examples of how Bloodborne's combat system works at it's best, they're fast, intense, and extremely fun.

The first two bosses exemplify all the worst parts and I hate them I hate them so fucking much they're such dumb bullshit.

Also there's a bowblade. It's a really long sword that turns into a bow that uses quicksilver. It is the best skill weapon in the game.
