Finally started watching Evangelion. I like it so far, but I'm not sure just how much I like it yet.

EDIT: Jesus Christ this show went from 0-100 real fucking quick.

EDIT2: Holy shit, it got even weirder. Just finished End of Evangelion.

Bleach has been pretty awesome for a while. Kyoraku's Bankai was fucking fantastic. Having a multiple-act play was something I never expected and all the imagery that came with it was a treat. Kudos to Kubo for that.

Watched Kill La Kill. It was pretty good actually.

Tried watching Mirai Nikki, two episodes in, zero likeable characters. This protagonist is whinier than Shinji and not nearly as interesting. Amazing amount of retarded shit that happened in such a short time too (highschool girl that somehow rigged an entire school full of explosives by herself, not blowing up said school to insure the kill on MC, cop walking in on the scene with no plan despite declaring girl had a dead man switch beforehand, cop shooting at the girl and telling the MC to kill her despite said dead man switch, yandere girl jumping from second floor windows, nobody giving a shit about the dozens of innocents dying.)

It's almost impressive how awful this show is despite apparently having a somewhat popular following?

I think people like it for the same reason some people like Elfen Lied. It's edgy.

Actually, I'm just basing that off this video by Demolition D, I have no real idea why people like it.

Caught up to it, story and pacing were all over the place at times but I liked the characters and the artwork was great. That twist at the end was full retard though.
