UGh, gone over our 100gb data cap again. Internet is now down to a crawl for the next four days.

100GB is your data cap? I think mine is at least 4 or 5 times that, wow.

Yeah, that's the pain of living not only in Australia where our internet is already pretty much always slower than it is in the US and living in a mountainous foresty area.

Most voiceovers are really difficult for me to listen and enjoy whatever it is that contains it. It is waaaay too easy to tell that a voice isn't really coming from a character and breaks my suspension of disbelief. All the rushy words, improper inflection and, especially in anime dubs, pronouncing names with overly heavy enunciation on each syllable. Especially in cases where a character is implied to know a particular person very well.



Also, unfitting accents.

Boy for being so incapable/unwilling to make extremely probable guesses my parents sure do like to stick to their blind guesses when they're able to be wrong with them. Even, perhaps especially if the answer can be checked in a few seconds. It's not even always simple confirmation bias because sometimes their guesses are on completely neutral things or things that go against them. What the hell is it with them?

I have the word "nipple" stuck in my head, and it makes me chuckle.

It's that thing were you notice how ridiculous a word sounds, then you play with it, feeling each little nuance of the word as it passed your lips.

there's a strip of land on the side of my house that faces the yard that never sees sun in winter, and everything is just. wet. because the dew won't evaporate because there's no sun. it's kind of irritating because i have to use the hose and shit and it's just. ew. it's wet. always. all the time.


also i couldn't find the type of xacto blades i wanted at michaels so now i have to order them on amazon. which isn't......that annoying, but i have to buy like 50 of them for some reason lmao. not that they won't get used, but jeez.

So I learned Skype has a Preview Weblink feature that puts a portion of a webpage into the main Skype window and, on top of that, animates .gif images.
I sent a few random things to people and it is apparently a Mobile/Mac-only feature. Boo.

I was gonna bookmark so many animated things, too.

Our homework has nice pages in the book to go to for all the people we have to look up.

They don't correspond to the book we have.

I'm kiiiinda wondering if my mom and her sister think that food/restaurants can't be "fancy" or "nice" if they're "ethnic".
Of course, the annoying part to me is mostly that while it sounds likely, I can't actually be certain. Uncertainty is annoying.
