To replace the fake outrage over the Starbuck's cups, there's now fake outrage over Reese's seasonal peanut butter "trees." Bonus points for them looking exactly the same as they have every year, and for this nonsense being kickstarted by one of those dumb images that gets reposted every fucking year for cheap laughs.

The (fake) issue is that several people (not that many) are furious (making jokes) that the trees don't look like trees at all (they really are turd-shaped though). And now there's plenty of back-backlash from people who are upset at the people (who, remember, don't exist) who are upset. And of course there are oh-so-many ridiculous excuses for media outlets picking up the hypeball and running as fast as they can.

What consoles me in cases like this is remembering that nobody will even remember anything happened a week from now.

The killer was heard saying "no more baby parts." Y'know, in case his motive wasn't already obvious.

Also, the Chairman of Homeland Security doesn't think this is terrorism. Because it's not like the shooter was using violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims-oh wait.

The two civilians slain in the Planned Parenthood shooting have been identified.

Jennifer Markovsky, 35 and mother of two.
Ke’Arre Stewart, 29 and father of two.

Both were there supporting friends who were struggling with the most difficult choice someone can make.

So this shooter didn't even kill anyone actually there for abortion purposes. He injured those people, but killed their friends and shattered families.

Good job. It's funny how the radical Christians spout bible verses as justification for their actions and for judging others, but this guy just went ahead and broke one of the big rules. You know, the one about fucking killing people.
