Okay I got it two days ago and just finished not killing everything.
EVERYTHING.
Is that what I was supposed to do...?
Also I got into a big fight with Flowey after he reacted to ASGORE's Souls to mega evolve into Mega-Flowey.
And I didn't kill him very much after I didn't lose.
Was that also correct?
Man this game is weird.
I died, like, 30 times.
Not counting all the times I tried to not kill ASGORE. Do we say his name in all caps?
Also feel free to shame me if any of these questions have been already answered.

Oh wait looks like now I have to backtrack to Alphys.
Dangit!
I already did that once to get Junk Food for the fight with ASGORE.
AND THEN I HAVE TO DO THAT LONG MEGA-FLOWEY FIGHT AGAIN.

If you're talking about not killing anything, you messed up somewhere. If you did everything correctly for Pacifist, then you don't fight Flowey. You got one of the neutral endings.

You can get that and still get the true pacifist ending. He didn't screw up.

If you didn't kill flowey after beating omega flowey, you should get a hint as to what to do next once your playthrough is over. This is assuming this is your first time playing a true 'pacifist' run. The hint is context-sensitive, depending on who you befriend or don't.

Also, Undertale's spritelist obviously has some as far as I know, unused sprites, including what Mettaton EX's face looks like under his hair. link

Looks more to me like that's supposed to be one of those shading effects where you sort of checkerboard pixels, but it's done weirdly because of how small it is. The underside of Mettaton's hair is likely Mettaton NEO's face, since his hair isn't flopped over it.

Except no shading of that type is used anywhere on any character in the game. Mettaton's face is in no way small when you encounter him in the game, to me it deliberately looks like exposed wires.

Also it seems that the right side of his face could've been damaged, those black pixels coming out of the border towards his right eye has one white pixel between it and his left eye. In his normal face there are 2 white pixels between his fringe and eye at closest.

Now that I've wrote this, it's possible that this face might've been an idea for the Genocide run at first before NEO was a thing, maybe when you'd attack him you'd end up cutting off his fringe and damaging his face, causing the cracks in the metal, then he'd fight you seriously.

I made a thing about it.

I'm at the point where I am bodaciously right before the fight with Asgore, can I still go back and befriend Undyne and Alphys?

Because I kinda didn't know how to do that.

You can hang out with Undyne at her place, but you can't hang out with Alphys until after you've seen the neutral ending of the game.

I spared Asgore and Flowey and got the neutral ending. Now I'm at the True Lab after Alphys' date and I'm missing two keys.

One is in one of the beds (can't remember which, just check them all. There's also one behind a shower curtain somewhere. Those are probably the two you're missing.

Green is behind the shower, yellow is in the bed with the covers over the pillow, blue requires you to turn on the refrigeration to clear a different room of fog, then check the fridges in that room.
