I think I remember reading an interview or something where Keaton said the Batman suit in that film was so restrictive he could hardly move while in it, so maybe that would explain the wooden mannerisms.

I want to see a movie tomorrow. Any good ones playing right now? I was looking at Hotel Transylvania 2 since I loved the first one.

Oh boy, it turns out on October 23 you can see Hollywood bastardize yet another mediocre 80s glorified-toy-advertisement animated series in the form of Jem and the Holograms
Yaaaaaayyyyy...

Fandango has all the movies in their theaters there on the website. I dunno what kind of movies you're interested in seeing, so there's a list.

Saw Jurassic World earlier, and I liked it a lot! Lots of cool looking dinos and dino fights

The new Jem movie doesn't have a whole lot similarities to the old show

Yeah, I know, that's why I said "bastardize"

I ended up seeing Hotel Transylvania 2. It was OK, not great, but not terrible.

There were a lot of funny moments, but plot-wise it was kind of rushed and couldn't really manage its subplots well. They were all resolved, but some of them were pretty fast resolutions.

I think that was kind of a problem in the first movie too. They wanted to do a lot of things with the plot Drac being scared of letting Mavis grow up and go out into the world because humans are scary, his hang ups over his wife dying, his hatred of Johnny barging into the hotel, his wanting to reconcile with Johnny while keeping his identity as a human secret from the other monsters, trying to hide Johnny from the chef, and trying to venture out in the human world without being discovered because of fear of humans. Everything kinda turned into a clusterfuck with stuff getting resolved too easily. I can imagine the amount of plotlines the sequel has.
