Parties and festivals tend to ruin shoes for me. I prefer some nice leather shoes btw.

Right now I have one pair of low-tops and one pair of high-tops. The low tops I got for my high school prom, so those are like 7-8 years old and are falling apart horribly. The entire heel part has separated from the sole so it's like, a strip of fabric around my foot.

The high-tops are in better shape, I actually like how how high tops feel (they like, keep my ankles from bending too far? kind of like a wrist brace but for ankles? idk) but they have a fancy pattern so I try to keep them ~pristine~ by almost never wearing em.

So I went and saw Mushroomhead Tuesday night at a bar/club in downtown Little Rock. They played a great show, in spite of parting ways with two members earlier this month.

Here's a pic of Unsaid Fate, one of the supporting acts to play that night.

The guy with the blurry face is Tommy Church, the guitarist from Mushroomhead, filling in on bass. Found out that was because Unsaid Fate's bassist quit the day before they set out. And, like an idiot, I later talked to Jackie, the singer about when they're holding auditions, and she asked for my contact info. I told her to let me know in advance, because I was gonna drive up to Cleveland to do an audition, and that would require me to put in vacation time.
