Two and a half months of breeding and I finally have my shiny Flygon!

Now to do the same for a Pidgey...

EDIT: Pidgey somehow took a mere sixteen eggs, over the course of 2-3 days.

Got back into Pokédexing in Alpha Sapphire.

I finished the National Dex once, in Soul Silver. Maybe it's time I did it again.

Started my run through Omega Ruby yesterday on the train, might continue. Not sure if/when I will buy a new 3DS to be able to trade with my Alpha Sapphire in order to be able to get all the heavenly legendaries in the sky.

Ugh, I wanna play the new mystery dungeon game so bad. Stupid inability to read Japanese.

Also I have now gone over 999 DexNav encounters for a shiny Poochyena in my Alpha Sapphire game. I'm just gonna give up on that and play the rest of the game.

In the 3DS games, the save data isn't actually on the cartridges anymore, it's saved on the system itself. So you can't just pop in your cart in another system and trade with yourself.

... Unless you meant you were getting another system so you could run one game on one 3DS and one on another, in which case you could definitely do that.

It's a fact that I'm dealing with right now, trading all my Y stuff to my brother and then swapping carts and trading it all back to myself in AS. Cockfighting Society Bank would make it easier but I am too cheap for that.

What are you talking about? The save data has always been on the cartridge. The only thing that isn't is downloaded patches.

Yeah, I'm also like 100% sure the data is on the cartridge. I switch my games around all the time with no issues, other than different friend code lists. You also can't pull out a game cartridge while it's running, if you do you will get an error message and you could damage your game. I should know because my OR accidentally came out and it gave me send message.
There's no way to trade with yourself with one system anyway because only one application can run on a 3DS at a time. So even if you did have a physical and digital copy of the game in/on your 3DS you can't run both at the same time.

You don't need a second 3DS to trade Pokemon between games. Just get a subscription to Pokemon Bank. You can move Pokemon between games easily without needing another system. The only thing it doesn't help with is trade evolutions, but you can find those on the GTS or get a friend on here to help.

Yeah, but if you want to trade items you will need another 3DS. Bank is the best way to do mass trading definitely.

Oooooh don't go assuming trading Cockfighting Society with myself was the only reason for buying a new3DS, I'm not all that irrational ^_^

But yes, save games are stored on the cartridge (unless you have the download version of the game, duh). There might be games where it might be the case that even cartridge copies save to the SD card, but Cockfighting Society isn't amongst them.

Hello everyone! I just finished a tour of the Kalos Region and found the most adorable outfits and stunning locales! This is Mama Katie's Fashion Travel Blog!

Image

Looking sporty in front of the lovely Parfum Palace!

Image

A bit more traditional look at Shabboneau Castle. They certainly value the conservative there!

Image

A little rain in Geosenge Town wasn't nearly enough to dampen the mood!

Image

Sunny weather at the Tower of Mastery compliments this fun, beach-themed look!

Image

Silly Lapras! You're blocking the view of the Sea Spirit's Den!

Image

The temperature drops at the Frost Cavern, but my fashion sense is still hot, hot, hot!

Image

A beautiful, sparkly outfit, perfect for a starry night out by Anistar City's famous sundial!

Image

The rustic look is right in tune with the quaint feel of Couriway Town!

Image

Brr! Things really start to cool down in Snowbelle City! Make sure you bundle up, Trainers!

Image

Finally, we arrive at the Pokemon League! And much like the trainer who wears them, my outfits have gone through quite a journey as well! Thanks for joining me!

Papa [CN]'s fashion blog would just be the one outfit I settled on after playing for half an hour and haven't changed since then.

Yeah, that's because boy's fashion is drab and girl's fashion is fab. B)

*Fashionista overload*

But actually yeah I didn't like most of the boy's clothes when I played the game the first time.
