Oh noes double post.
So the US Splatfest theme was annonced. Art vs Science. I am so torn right now guys. But I'll be science since I want to be a scientist later in life... as much as I love art.

Something tells me I'm picking the losing team. Anyone else feeling that?

Yeah, I just heard of the Splatfest announcement too. I think the losing team will be Art, honestly.. I don't know, I don't know what to trust, haha. I'm kind of afraid of adults/teens banning together for the win of one team.

I'm probably going to be on Team Art, though. I like Art lots more than Science.

I wouldn't count Team Art out just yet. This game has been a huge hit with a lot of artists (which is easy to understand, given the colorful nature of the game and the fresh designs). Especially considering that Nintendo did an official art contest for the game.

I know I will be getting the matches in for Team Art on this splatfest, so I'll do my part to get the win.

Despite being an amusing nod to the game's popularity, which it seems to be more of than a shameless ripoff (I mean really, they're not that stupid, they're even calling it Squid Wars and had Davy Jones in the ad), it's pretty bad, they could've at least used realistic paint splotches and mechanics instead of "press B to immediately completely color in this square, look it's totally ink-paint amirite"

More a fill tool than a paint tool.

Auuugh, I missed the Splatfest because I had to visit family. If I had joined, I could've actually won one Splatfest. ;w; Oh well. Nice job Team Art! What a close win.

I have to miss the next Splatfest too because Nintendo hates my personal life.

Also does nobody know about Carbon Roller Deco? I find it to be the most devastating weapon with Ninja Squid and Special Charge. Seeker rush is also absolute godliness in Rainmaker.
Though the utter lack of non-grounded long-range makes it a bit tricky, to be sure.

Hmm, give up Kraken for seeker rush or not... I mean I kinda like my momentary invincibility/squid as I ink ability. And relay points are great when my team uses them with me properly (or I have reason to jump where I put them).
