I have climbed aboard the Gin Tonic hype train. This seems to be my favourite cocktail, I usually don't like them too much because they're too sweet for me, but that's not the case here.

I'm not drunk right now, but I'll talk about the Europarty we had Saturday.
So this dude from the Czech Republic, Jakub, who my stepdad and I used to work with, is in the area and we invited him along on our camping trip. The last time he joined us, years ago, he brought some absinthe from home and we got wrecked. I had one drink of that and had to lie down. This time he had a bottle of Slivovice, plum brandy, 90-proof. Burned a bit but it tasted really good and we polished it off quickly. Many shouts of na zdraví.
My uncle made some Red Snappers (Crown Royal/Disaronno/cranberry juice) which taste weird but it's his favorite so whatever. He gets super melodramatic when he's drunk so that was fun to deal with. We also ended up going through a bottle of Jagermeister which I don't remember, but I had several people assuring me that I was competing with Jakub to see who could down shots quicker.
I didn't do anything the next day.
Drinking with Eastern Bloc people is usually pretty crazy. Last time I did that was with some girls who had some sort of homebrewn vodka. It was strangely delicious, went down smooth but knocked you out in no time flat. (Be careful with homebrewn alcohol though kids)
