I can understand if the character suddenly looks into the camera and says "Drink Jack Daniels - it's my preferred way to unwind after a long day of dino wrangling!" before suddenly going back to attempting to seduce the park director.

Tangent off of this, I remember seeing an episode of Rizzoli & Isles a few years ago with like three characters in the kitchen drinking Dr Pepper and spending a not-insignificant amount of time talking about how delicious and refreshing it was. THAT was ridiculous.

I think the main thing in Jurassic World was all the major vehicles being Mercedes (except the Jeep of course, and really, one of those 20-year-old SUVs being ready to go after a fresh battery and fuel change is one hell of an advertisement), but Mercedes has always supplied vehicles to the series, haven't they? They're practically a character now.

I remember these Youtube guys that got sponsored by pepsi or something and filled their room with just TONS of Pepsi products. E.G. Shirts, Posters, Fridges, rugs, ETC.

So I ended up getting persuaded to watch Ted 2 with a couple friends. I only barely (or should that be 'bearly'?) remember the first one, but I found I didn't need too much specific information anyway. Considering the cinema was incredibly empty (is this what watching films late on weekdays is like?) I still felt like it was pretty solid. The plot was a little bear-bones, but it followed on naturally from the questions that would relate to the eponymous bear's existence - though at times it felt a little preachy. The humour was pretty good as well, with the improv night scene, Jurassic Park reference and Liam Neeson's cameo being the clear highlights, though there were a couple 'other' jokes I found myself detached from.

Overall, I'd say it was pretty good. Don't go in expecting a masterpiece, but I enjoyed it.

Finally saw Jurassic World: Forget the Last Two Movies. I loved it, despite its noteworthy flaws (half the people made me want to punch them when they were first introduced, I'm glad they got mostly better) and the stupidity-driven plot.

My favourite bits:
The old park (and it not completely eclipsing the rest of the film, though I did wish it saw a little more screentime)

The velociraptors turning on the strike team

and

the overly-fanservicy finale, despite being driven mostly by the flagship T. Rex and Velociraptors, still being finished off by a surprise attack from the mosasaur

And as expected, the soundtrack was top notch (though I was slightly annoyed by the way the iconic JP theme was at a faster tempo in the introduction). I almost wanted to stay to listen to it through the credits.

Batman V Superman : Dawn of Justice will set up the Justice League movie. ~Entertainment Weekly.

I thought it was common sense?

Finished watching The Kingsman and it was very excellent. I laughed a lot and liked the plot, it really managed to entertain me.

The ending (after the initial credits) finished it off rather nicely.

Mortal Kombat is an excellent comedy.

In my continued attempts to watch "the classics" that I somehow never watched, I just watched the first Rocky. That was really fucking great. Like wow. I guess that's why they're the classics, haven't been let down yet.

Watching Batman Returns and oh my god this Batman is terrible

He lacks complete subtlety, drops really obvious hints that he's Batman and why is the batcar erupting flames when he's going under 10 miles per hour
