She, please.

Also yes, Awakening. You forgot Adversa Side Effects Include Headache, Nausea, and Swelling of the Tongue.

Spoilers for Fates:

Are you kidding me

Severa, Owain, and Inigo are bodaciously back as playable characters for Nohr? Really?

Because that's completely necessary.

I was skeptical before, but now it really feels like they're trying to make this game ride on Awakening's success.

Hey, Awakening's sales saved the series. Gotta follow them popularity polls. Of course it wouldn't have needed saving if they didn't make Shadow Dragon the way they did. At least Odin is putting his mom's good magic growths to use now.

Alright, ACTUAL spoilers ahead now.
AVERT YE MOUSE FROM THESE BLACK WATERS IF YE BE INNOCENT AND UNSPOILED

In further kinda spoiler news, basically the whole game has been hacked already. All the Amie portraits have been hacked out and people now have desktop waifus. We know there will be upcoming beach DLC. We're also getting Dark Falcon class from Awakening as some sort of DLC or whatever the class was called the one with galeforce, along with FE2's Dread Fighter also returning as a bonus class, this time with Knives instead of Magic. Unknown at this time whether the additional classes of Witch (FE2 enemy only warping units) and Ballistician will be available to players or not, but they've been found, along with everyone's favorite ability, Warp, for the Witch.

Geez what else? Some enemies have special 1-2 range bows, and some get a skill to give them 1-2 range, but there's also 1-2 range bows available to the player (or at least 1 anyway, a streamer was using it, think it was the shortbow). Did I mention the weapon triangle has been reworked to include them? It's Sword and Magic beats Axe and Bow, which further beats Knife and Lance, which goes back to beat Sword and Magic.

Another thing I saw in a stream, taking enough damage removes some bits of armor, judging by the streamer's General unit losing the silly pauldrons after taking too much damage. They didn't come back after healing either, which I wanted to see if that would happen. There's also weapons and a personal skill to strip armor/clothing, which from what I've seen is more than just the small bits lost from regular combat.

And that's it for new spoiler stuff, or slightly old by now spoiler stuff that I brought up now.

I don't know how that's a spoiler or a bad thing but I'll leave it.
I've had Ryouma on my desktop since Saturday. He's an adorable little lobster.

Gameplay stuff: I'm not sure if I'm gonna like this new ranged weapon triangle. Looks like I'll have to wait and see. I also wish that they brought back a magic triangle; they could've totally done the whole fire/wind/thunder thing.

Oh hi Paralogue 21

What's that

The commander has a 48% chance of a critical hit and strikes twice

Yeah OK, seems reasonable

Yeah, the paralogues are all pretty tough. I think it took me like eight tries to save Emmerwyn, and I ended up using a Rescue staff to do it.

Gameplay: I kinda like getting bows into the triangle, and in fact all the buffs to bows. 1-2 bow(s), increased power on player phase to make up for having no power on enemy phase, archer units not having terrible stats.

Other: Did you lipsynch him to any songs yet? I saw some people doing that with Belka and the MGS3 theme. Also, replacement lewd textures are a thing if you're into that.

Yeah that one took me a few tries as well.

On that note, I'm kind of unnerved by the fact that you can S-support Emmeryn, since the game pretty much says she has brain damage.

If I remember correctly, Emmeryn slowly gets better in her supports with the Avatar, so it's not sexy brain damage action. But then I never actually did that support just listened to someone else say what happens so who knows.

I dunno. I do seem to remember her getting somewhat better when I watched that conversation a while ago, but then I didn't know it was under those conditions. I'll have to watch it again.

It's kinda like Morgan's ending where she never recovers fully but at least makes minor progress. I think it was more so that Chrom stays Exalt following the end but it's kinda bittersweet that she can't become her former glory
