I've got about 41 pages of chest armours and I haven't even fought all the monsters yet. I'm only recently G2.
There are way too many sets to create all of them.
And let's not mention the time needed to make them all, especially the ones that need multiple rare items to create.
I'm looking at you, Rathalos Rubies.

Khezu can eat a big hairy booty hole. I can't believe it killed me again, game overed too. It's limping phase is a pain in the booty, it gets super aggressive and I can't keep up, I don't want it resting so I don't wanna leave the area while it's enraged. Maybe I should play keep away better, but still.

Why don't you want it resting? The 3x damage boost applied to your wake-up attack should be more than enough to deal with the tiny chunk of health it's regained while sleeping. Get some bounce bombs, combine 'em with Scatterfish and bam, anti-khezu alarm clock.

Seriously, its like Michael Bay made a monster. There's nothing but explosions the entire fight, and his spontaneous supernova-ing is just so UUUUGH. I can't Moxie through it if I'm on fire.

The spontaneous supernova always happens around 100 seconds after he gets enraged. It's super dumb, there is bodaciously nowhere in the game that the time limit is given to you and even if you know the secret it's a pain in the booty to time.

This is an incredibly late reply, but I sincerely hope you've made the GS that is bodaciously a Swordfish/Tuna hybrid. Seriously cannot wait to max that baby out.

Oh and also there's like this eel-longsword and a fishbones bow, but those aren't nearly as cool as WIELDING A SWORDFISH TUNA. Also, that lance had the best quest ever in MH3 to get. You wrestled sharks in an underwater arena, and JESUS FUCK LAGI WHY ARE YOU HERE GO AWAY AAAAAGH.

The greatest thing I've learned about that bullshit nova is that apparently KOing him/breaking his horns RESETS the timer for it. Granted I have no meaningful way of doing that, since I've decided not to use a Hammer or Lance this gen, and I'm a literal mound of butts at using hunting horn right now. Least I have my trusty Parazagged Edge, Azure Rose, and an unhealthy collection of Dual Swords to fight most G-Rank monsters with. Except Ukanlos goddamnit why do you have to be SO MUCH WORSE THAN AKANTOR JESUS FUCK STOP GOING UNDERGROUND AND CHARGING ME AFTER INFLICTING ICEBLIGHT, I DON'T HAVE INFINITE DASH JUICES.

Mounting an Enranged Teostra also break it out of Nova-charge.
And with Ukanlos, if you can block, blocking the swim once stops you getting hurt by it again so you can stop blocking and run behind it.

Is it bad that I got bored rather quickly of 4U? I mean, I loved 3U, to the point of being bored as I basically did all I want to (minus talisman snipe to get a grongigas set because uuuuuugh). But 4U just seems a lot more.. bleh. Personally don't like the new monsters that much (besides the Magalas), the areas are rather bland except for Frozen Seaway I guess (looking at you V. Hollow being the EXACT SAME as S. Hollow but + magma), and the slow grind to progress through tiers just drags on so quickly

Deviljho ain't that bad once you get it down, plus they do reduced damage so really all that happens is you don't have skills to work with. Really the hardest part of that quest is that you don't get a gate, so you have to bring smoke bombs and kill the first Jho before the other one wanders into the fray.
