AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I learned some bad news about two regulars at my job and it kinda put a damper on my day.

These two were the nicest ladies, honestly whenever they came in. Sure the daughter was in a wheelchair due to something, I can’t remember what it was exactly but, they usually came into my line in concessions and we chatted about the movie they were going to see, which I usually gave them trivia about.

But now…The mom was murdered and the daughter was found in Wisconsin of all places, after being reported missing. Who would do this to these sweet ladies? It makes me mad and really upset.

Oh god that's so unbelievably sad

That ranks right up there with the customer and her baby that got hit by a car while crossing the street to return a video when I worked at Blockbuster. The mother died at the scene. The baby was in critical condition. It was a hit and run.

Well it got even worse. The daughter and her boyfriend(Who she was found with) are now charged with murder. I can't believe this, the saying you can't judge a book by its cover makes sense but it really upsets me still.

I get really discouraged about the fear and hatred spread through the media.

The gays are ruining the country, why aren't we stopping the terrorists, religion is dead, the country is still in debt, no jobs, no hope, tune in at 11 for more breaking news.

Republicans are running the news.

I guess I don't know where else to post so here we go

I had a wonderful time in Ohio with Dark, felt the least stressed I've ever been in my life, got back after a heck of a time at the airport, went to bed, and then...

Mom woke me up to tell me she loves me and use my sleepiness to cushion the news that my grandmother has extremely aggressive breast cancer (a 5cm and growing tumor), then I found out that mom lost her job, got a letter from a lawyer letting me know that the hospital wants to sue me, found out that paypal won't let me access my cheddar anymore right now, I don't have work until August again and I can't get a summer job because I have to be here to care for my brother while my parents try to make my grandmother comfortable. I feel like I'm going insane and I've been having one more-or-less continuous anxiety attack since Thursday. I don't know what to do. I've been considering having like, a garage sale of some kind so I can at least afford to pay the lawyers so they don't take me to court, and maybe help my parents out since only dad is working now.

EDIT: Also there's a very real possibility I'll have to declare bankruptcy, and I have to get tested for breast cancer as well since this makes several generations in a row of breast cancer in my family's women. It doesn't help that I'm... very, very large chested. I can't do accurate self exams at this point.

Wait, what are they suing you for....?

I owe them cheddar. Specifically, thirteen thousand dollars. They turned my bill over to a law office, who sent me a letter informing me that the hospital wants to press charges against me to force me to pay up, and that if I don't start paying more, or miss any payments, they'll take me to court and make me pay for their court costs.

EDIT: Basically, stuff is falling apart, like it often is around me. My parents and grandmother knew about her cancer for several weeks before my trip, but concealed it from me so that I could at least have an enjoyable vacation before having to deal with all of this. It's killing me because there's so much stuff that MIGHT happen or that WILL happen, but that I can't do anything about with any effectiveness.

Oh wow, I'm really sorry to hear about that.

I've been seeing a lot of dead cats on the road lately. Although I'm also the kind of person to stop, get out of the car, and move a turtle off of the road, so that might be why I feel bad when I see it.

Also, my mom sent me a text. Apparently my grandmother (on my father's side) has stage 1 lymphoid cancer. Her husband (obviously my grandfather) had esophageal cancer but he managed to survive.

cats and dogs, idk, i see a lot of dead animals but cats and dogs make me sad. probably because i just think of how their owners (at least in the dogs' case,) didn't care enough to keep them safe and now they will rot and turn to bone and nobody will care or remember. which is exactly why i creeped out half the neighbourhood one day by scavenging a roadkill cat.

I'm picturing you sneaking cartoonishly out into the middle of the road (exaggerated tiptoes) while thinking you are invisible but the ENTIRE neighborhood is watching. Like, people in their yards are staring at you from 10 feet away going "wtf".

And then you get within arms reach of the cat and SNATCH SPRINT SLAM you are safe inside again.

This is very amusing to me. I also get sad when I see a cat or dog that has been hit by a vehicle. Especially dogs.

so we were just like NOTHING TO SEE HERE NOPE JUST SCOOPING THIS INTO THIS LARGE PLASTIC BAG I AM STRATEGICALLY HOLDING SO YOU CAN'T SEE MY HUSBAND FRANTICALLY TRYING TO CUT THIS CAT'S TRACHEA WITH A KNIFE THAT HAS NO SERRATION

normally i'd do all this in my house but this cat was a FeLV+ feral and no way in HELL was i bringing the entire carcass inside

though now i kinda wish i'd had, because kitty bones :3c
