Kratos Aurion > Kratos
Call me when your Kratos has ripped the fabric of reality apart for revenge.

The fanboy-ism is strong with this one!
There's a big difference between fanboyism and recognizing who is the most awesome. To the point where its more appropriate to call you a deluded fanboy for claiming he isn't.

I prefer Kratos Aurion.

The other Kratos just kinda.. pisses me off with his douche-nozzle attitude. :|

Actually Kratos Aurion kinda did rip apart the fabric of reality.

His life force was the only thing strong enough to seal away the god Origin, the omnipotent/omniscient creator of the universe and all living things. Then he and Mithos bent Origin to their will, forcing him to create a sword which Kratos used to cut the world into two separate worlds, putting to end a thousand year war.

Wow. That sounds really lame.

And to the person who says Kratos pisses him off - thats kinda to be expected when the character is deeper than the one note stereotypes you're used to.

yeah, i understand he's deep- that don't mean he's likeable. His character annoys the shit outta me. Sure, he kicks booty, but he's a piece of shit, to be honest.

Compared to nearly any character in gaming. When a man has done these acts he can never live with, he must choose to either fight for redemption, or abandon his humanity. Even as a mercenary for the gods, Kratos was showing his utter disdain for humanity as his own method of self blame, and his guilt in turn fueled his own rage against his opponents.

Who plays God of War for how deep kratos is? I just play it to kill a medusa and use her head to freeze a siren in stone and smash it to bits.

Which probably cant actually be done in the game but I digress.

No, it can be done. Matter of fact, thats how I ussually deal with them. It's ussuallly easier than having to snap their necks after throwing them in the air and pulling them back down by throwing my blades into their stomachs. However, just because something is fun, doesn't mean it can't be meaningul and well written as well. Thats something I wish everyone in the industry would learn, particularly the man who keeps saying that stories should be ignored, or should be as shallow as possible, involving only cake.

Really? You think Kratos Aurion was lame, AND you think Portal was shallow?

Your opinion has been invalidated forever. :colbert:
