I feel like i'm a generation behind since all I have is a PS2 and a gamecube. and a DS, but I mean console-wise. Even then, I only have like 7 or 8 games on my DS.

On a lot of levels I question people who say this. This may have been true a year ago, but the Ps3 really has outperformed the 360 a lot in releases, both in the past and upcoming year. I think a lot of people keep counting shared games as 360 exclusives for some reason.

Oh, and if you get a Ps3, you can get The Last Guardian, and act smugly superior to people who didn't. People tend to underestimate the value of acting holier (or in this case, more games are art centered) than thou.

Having seen the above list, I have to question what type of games actually do appeal to you. Don't like platformers, open worlders, third person shooters, stealth games, or any mixture of the above - you a racer, an FPS gamer, an RPG gamer?

I don't have much cheddar so I got a Wii. its nice but there just aren't as many noteworthy games as i would like (Brawl, Zelda, and Galaxy are the only ones that really stand out). I want an Xbox so I can play Fable II, Gears, and the Halo series. PS3 is kinda meh for me. Resistance, Ratchet and MGS4 would be nice to play but that would take a miracle.

A Latin prefix meaning “apart,” “asunder,” “away,” “utterly,” or having a privative, negative, or reversing force.

gaea
An alternative spelling of Gaia.

AKA, "disgaea" means a dystopian earth. Which seems to pretty accurately describe the universe of the games.
