I'm so pop flyin'

Hopefully we'll get a proper trailer at E3, crossing my fingers

Just the fact that this one's gonna get a full development cycle rather than a year of rushed work gets me all excited, MGR was just way too short for how great it was

also please fix the camera Platinum it's the one thing keeping the game from being 10/10

EDIT: TIME TO GET SAD

So amid the hoopla about rumors of Kojima leaving and having Kojima Productions logos and such removed from MGSV material, Konami came out with a post about MGSV saying that The Phantom Pain will be released as planned and how they're going to be making new Metal Gear games after Phantom Pain. And are already conducting interviews for main staff to lead the development.

So Konami probably thinks that they can keep Metal Gear afloat and good after Kojima and other integral staff leave. Because that worked so well with the Silent Hill series, didn't it? Goddammit all.

Well, Kojima wasn't involved in creating Revengeance and that was good, right?

Although that was mostly because of Platinum Games...

Revengeance was based off of Kojima's work, and he helped create a majority of the concepts and plot.

So he actually was super involved.

Let's not forget that this could also mean the loss of Yoji Shinkawa, who is a big part of making these games LOOK amazing.

On the other hand, Kojima seems pretty set on making sure MGS as a series ends pretty fully, so any new Metal Gear games will probably only be set in the same world and not part of the MGS series if Konami cares at all about potential fan backlash. Which might not be terrible, depending on who they hand it off to.

Konami doesn't care about fan backlash one bit. Prime example would be the Silent Hill series. It also doesn't really care very much about the people who work on their games.

I'm trying to play the first Metal Gear Solid and besides being a bugger to set up turns out stealth games make me really nervous.
