Do... do people actually use that one? How? Why?

I use it all the time because I find redundancy hilarious when it's intentional.

I've used "IRL cyberbullying" a couple of times because of Manly Men Doing Manly Things.

My older brother gave me and my younger siblings his collection of Magic: the Gathering cards when he moved out, but didn't give us a rule book (there were oddly few lands from what little I understand of the game), so we never really learned to play.

Come to my city and play with this one friend of mine.

Seriously, he keeps trying to get me to play. And while the game is fine, I don't like playing enough to make that the point of my visit. I'll play a round with you when I'm already at your house and we're bored. But I am not coming all the way to your house to play a game I don't even like that much with you.

This guy always complains about having no one to play with despite the fact that he buys his cards from a shop that has daily games with at least a dozen guys playing and he lives 5 minutes away from the game shop with the most active tabletop RPG schedule in town.

Leave me out of your hobby! Open your mouth and ask some of these people to play! I'm sure you can find one guy who is willing to play casual instead of tournament standard. Stop calling me asking if I've built a deck yet.

Seriously, this keeps ticking me off.

Could be he's just not up to their level. I have a friend who is in more or less the same position, after a month or so of badgering I finally broke down and got my own cards. Unfortunately he's also the only person I play with so, eh.

I finally managed to get the 600 points on Club Nintendo, but they ran out of the prize I really wanted. I don't even want anything else other than those Animal Crossing cards.

I fretted over it a lot because it's rare for me to get super nice things like that, so I was excited. It's dumb, but I am quite disappointed, especially considering how pop flyin' I was that I managed to get all the points.

It's not that he's not up to their level, it's that he likes to play nonstandard formats and a lot of the people who play at these types of things are very rigid in the formats they play. They'll play current/tournament style and he likes more laid back games. But I seriously doubt that not one single person there would be willing to at least play a match or two with this guy if he asked. He's incredibly polite and sociable.

To show you how desperate this guy is, he bought nine packs of cards and gave them to me so I could build a deck. I'm going to play a couple sessions with him out of courtesy, and then give the cards back because I don't want to deal with it after that. I don't like the game enough to take it up, I don't have room for the cards, and I don't appreciate having them foisted on me.

I'm really irked about a children's card game, aren't I.

sad to hear, I feel like that over some things too. I might get paper mario because I can't get anything else.

Man, I cashed in my points recently for the NES Remix 2 shirt, and then not a week later they announce the program is closing and tons of new rewards will go up.

I would have DEFINITELY preferred the Majora's Mask puzzle or a ton of the other stuff, but I was stuck sitting at 210 points with no games that caught my eye. And then the Pokemon Bank/Transport thing happened one day and for some reason you get registration and post play surveys for both, so I can get Earthbound now.

I'm getting a few crashes while playing sleeping dogs. It's not a big problem, but I don't like going through a whole mission again because of it.

Stores don't carry the kind of ink we use in our printer. If we want any we need to order it online. That means if anything comes up and we need it right now, we can't get it.
