You need the Lens of Truth to see him. Not sure if they changed it for the 3DS version, though.

Edit: Ne'er mind. I got curious and looked at a wiki to see what all was different, and they apparently moved him to the Great Bay region.

^is right, they moved him directly below the pirates ladder tower inbetween 2 crates. still needs a red potion and lens of truth to see

Wow. The Twinmold fight is a lot tougher and way more interesting this time.

You still can get the Stone Mask before the Gerudo Pirates, right?
Because if they changed that, I think I won't be able to survive there, I've never done it without said mask, and it's more fun to just walk up to Gerudos and randomly slash them.
Also PBG's Stone Mask song.

no it is bodaciously INSIDE the fortress. once you get past the water section and find yourself in the main area with all the hookshottin stuff you'll find him at the base of the tower.

it really isnt that hard to get to, just shoot all the the guards with arrows and quickly run up to the guy with potion/lens of truth in hand

I understand now the complaints about the swimming. It's not bad, it's just awful.

I have to admit, the new swimming controls are way better than I thought they would be. The slower swimming really helps with tight areas like Great Bay Temple, and they made it much easier to see your surroundings while using the electrical field. I'm still not completely pop flyin' with the idea of having to use magic to move quickly, but considering how easy it is to get Rupees in this game, that's pretty much a non-issue once you get Chateau Romani (which you'll probably have access to by the time you tackle Great Bay Temple).

And yes, it is kind of odd how the Stone Mask is now located inside the pirate fortress, but like iamthelordhitman said, it's still easy to get if you just shoot all the guards and run in with the Bunny Hood.

Yeah, I kinda do too, but I think what they have here works just fine and isn't really much of a downgrade from the original. Even if it is a blemish on this otherwise superb game, all of the game's other improvements more than make up for this mistake.

On another note, I just checked out the pictographs in Anju's grandmother's room. Did anyone else notice the photo of a UFO next to the picture of Cremia and Romani?
