Anyways, on to real business. What reasons to kill Kergan? Probably not a lot, first night is pretty random.

Kergan probably would have just been a random choice. The Witchhunters just have a slight bit more information going into the first night than we do.

Though, we do have the Wizard, shitty though he may be. If the Wizard reveals it will give us someone to trust. The downside to this would be the Witchhunters would know that they don't have a power role and would likely not kill them during the night nor would the Holy Man visit them.

Up to the Wizard to decide really.

Yeah, the first night kill tends to be pretty random. Most of the times I've been Mafia, folks just consulted an RNG for their target. Last game I actually came up to be killed, before the Mafia realized I was one of them :')

What's to stop someone else from claiming the wizard, though?

If they can choose during the day then this throws my plan out the window.

The VH has to choose their targets at night during the deliberation on who to kill. Otherwise they'd be able to pick it out right as the lynch is about to happen and that would defeat the purpose of the daytime rolescrub.

Awesome. Then my plan could still work assuming the Wizard actually chooses to go along with it.

Sorry I'm just having a hard time understanding your logic--what exactly is your plan? All you said was 'if x person reveals themself, this will happen' but where would they go from there?

Also there's a possibility that YOU'RE a witch hunter and you want the shitty wizard to reveal themself for some reason. If the shitty wizard dies and their role is hidden that means one of the mafia can claim that as their role and get away with it because no one could counter them. Doubly so with the specter dead now.

Now now, Supaaku is an honorable good voter and I will not have any accusations thrown at him.

My plan is essentially to give the town someone they can trust. It would be nice to have that person early on. Witchhunters would not be able to counterclaim either without losing one of their own.
They would have to either waste a night and try to take the Wizard out or let the Wizard live in an attempt to find power roles that are more threatening to them.

I understand that the Wizard would be taking a hell of a risk but that's why I said it is ultimately up to them to decide whether or not they see logic in my plan.
