Because like I said, Foxy is the most interesting character besides golden freddy, he's an abandoned animatronic that might have connections to the bite of 87, the story uses mystery and implications to really grow a strong and interesting backstory based on how you see it, some people theorize freddy caused the bite of 87, some blame Foxy, etc. Hell, people are still coming up with theories on what "IT'S ME!" means. It's a story you gotta unearth and think over, and that's what makes the games lore so interesting.

I think "IT'S ME" is the children crying out Mike Schmidt because it's them. My theory is that Mike Schmidt is the father of the 5 Lost Children, and when the Pizzaria needed a new night guard, he immediately jumped on the opportunity to get some answers about his 5 lost children. It would explain why he stays 5-7 Nights when he obviously confronts the possibility of death. In fact, I bet the children that were stuffed in the suits (assuming we're going with the assumption that the children were stuffed in the suits) want to stuff Mike in a suit so he can join them, because they want to be with their daddy.

So I haven't been able to find anything on this but I've heard from someone who seemed pretty certain that there's going to be a third Five Nights at Freddy's. I'm just going to go with the probable guess that they were wrong, but has anyone heard about such? If it's true I'd like to know... what could possibly be added/changed? I would think the fundamental gameplay would need some altering for a third game to be necessary.
If there is a third one... I'd be really interested in seeing a FNAF where you actually move about the pizzeria, hiding from the animatronics. Perhaps part of the challenge would be that you are indeed not really trying to keep people out, but keep the animatronics in, so you need to catch the attention of the animatronics just enough that they focus on you but can't catch you.
