Today I learned that we only have to hand in the poster, we won't have to do the speech tomorrow, which means I'll ultimately have more time to learn for the other exam, yay!

I had a cider yesterday with a bunch of second year illustration students and it felt really good to hang out with such chilled out people.

I'm having two of my friends over for dinner on Friday and I got all the stuff I need today. It ended up costing less than I thought, too.

I just found out that I"m most likely only about 1 quarter behind, rather than a whole year!
Yay! That means Sloth and I can get married sooner, and I don't have to worry so much about my loans hitting the 250 credit limit!

Dinner with my friend went really well! He really liked the meal and I had a lot of fun cooking and preparing everything and making my apartment look all spiffy and I think I might like culinary arts as a profession.

So yeah. This weekend so far.

Hit the Nonpoint/Gemini Syndrome show last night with my brother. Pretty much perpetual ear-busting metal thrashing all night long. The opening bands were better than I expected as well. I think I stretched my neck muscles headbanging during Gemini's set; I'm still sore. After a few hours of sleep I had to work today. This is included here because I'm impressed with the fact that we wired an 8,000 sq. ft. 4 bed/2 bath house, start to finish, in a single day. The guy I started work with last year, the one who was a super-hardass, seemed to at least not be disappointed in my work today. It was so cold all day that even working at full steam, I never broke a sweat. I'm sore and exhausted and I really want to go to bed, but it's just been a very satisfying couple of days.
