There's a specific word for it, but basically, context is the most important thing to realize. People can be into very, very horrifying and weird shit when it's in a completely fictitious context, but if it was done to real people right in front of them they could be horrified and disgusted.

So just because someone likes something when it's drawn or acted out, doesn't mean they'd be okay with it when it's actually happening.
